Flying B Golf Course

We play here a few times per season. Like the layout. Course is always in very nice shape. It was a chilly day. Ground was very saturated due to recent rains - cart paths only. Pace was very good until catching up to slower groups just before the turn. Eventually played through. Good round.

This is a great course to play. The layout is great and a bit challenging. The course is in excellent condition. The staff are absolutely great.

Where to start. Most courses around here are overpriced and under-maintained. Flying B is the exception, coming in at a decent price with excellent conditions. Soft fairways, long rough, smooth rolling greens, and a great cart path all come together to make this course a highlight in the NE OH area.

The layout is interesting and captivating. Beautiful holes with water,tree, and sand hazards make this a challenging yet fair course. Would recommend 10/10 times.

Clubhouse employees were super friendly!

I really liked the course. It is really laid out well and in great condition. I would rate it well above average. We were a twosome following a rather slow foursome but that is just one of the things that happens on occasion. The staff was great. I would recommend this course to anyone.

I have golfed at Flying B multiple times before and I can safely say I will never return again. I went to the course for a nice family outing and instead had the worst golf experiences of my life. We were on time for our tee time, but that did not matter as the course does not honor tee times. The pace of play was incredibly slow and there were times where four groups would be on one hole. What made this round the worst experience of my life however was by far the staff. A worker approached a member in my group and was incredibly rude and disrespectful due to a simple mistake. The worker proceeded to continuously verbally attack the member at my group by calling him "stupid" and cussing at him nonstop. We immediately left the course following the incident and will never return again. If you are a person who golfs frequently, I do not recommend wasting your time at such a classless course.

It has been a few years since I played here. I used to like this course. After my experience today I will never go back. Tee times mean nothing here. I had a tee time and there were 3 groups a head of me without one. When I asked when I was up I was told to get in line. Group behind me had the same experience. I also had a very unprofessional exchange with the maintenance staff. Greens are full of ball marks. Course is over crowded with non golfers. Walked off after taking over 2 hours to play 7 holes. If you are an avid golfer this place is not for you.

Beautiful area and tee boxes, fairways and greens are beautifully kept

Excellent condition. Course is great in every way. Plush fairways, quick greens, and very affordable to seniors. Located in farming area near Salem, Ohio. IT IS A MUST TO PLAY. A real test if golf. Very long from the tips. All of the many traps are maintained well.

Clubhouse is very small with minimal food choices. Senior tees very fair and good shots rewarded. Highly recommended

Flying B golf course was an excellent value. Greens were immaculate, teeing areas very good. Course is a lot harder than it initially appears. Lots of crowned greens that penalize an indifferent shot. Greens were pretty fast, and all ran the same speed.

The approach shot to #10 is insanely difficult. There is no "good miss."

Pace of play was slow. Despite that, I really enjoyed my day, and will be back!

Great value, it is very well taken care of. Some challenging holes too. Cant beat the value. Just a bit far from more or I would play more often. I would recommend this course to anyone.
