About
Grantwood Golf Course is one of the best golf values in the greater Cleveland area. The course sits next to Timberlake Recreation Park, a scenic park with a large fishing lake and picnic areas that are perfect for outdoor gatherings. The layout features small, undulating greens that are protected by more than 40 strategically placed bunkers. Water also comes into play on 10 holes in the form of a meandering creek and several ponds. The golf course is a challenging-but-fair test for players of all skill levels. Beginners and high handicappers won't be intimidated by long forced carries and won't have to worry about losing balls on every hole. Grantwood Golf Course sprawls across gently rolling terrain and the tees are in close proximity, making this a perfect layout for walking.

Fun, challenging course
This course was great. It rained for a week before we went so the fairways and greens were really water logged so it made play difficult in some sections, but not to the fault of the course. There are a lot of small creeks to watch out for which can make this course more challenging for beginners. But really enjoyed the course anyway! Pace was slow - but it was a super nice day. I think moral of the story is - this course is awesome. Challenging. But the staff is great and friendly, the drink prices are good, so if you’re looking for a fun, relaxing round of golf, kick back with a drink and enjoy the scenery while waiting!
Fun track
The course was in excellent condition and was impressed with the layout.
Good challenge for weekend golfer
Many opportunities to score well, but it will punish you if you’re not careful.
Have to take advantage of the easier Par 4s and 3s. Par 5s are straightforward, but long.
Challenging little course
I haven't played this course in a very long time. It was just like I remembered it. Bunkers on nearly every hole. Beautifully manicured greens. Tight fairways. 4 tee boxes to choose from so every skill level can enjoy this course. Terrific course and friendly staff.
Could be Better
Hot day and not one beverage cart in 18 holes. Also, on multiple holes, there were 3-4 groups backed up - no Ranger on the course to push the pace of play. Otherwise, the staff and the course conditions were good.
Nice course overall
Good condition on the course. Only thing I had issues with-if you have a lot of sand traps as part of your layout, you should make the sand playable. Most were like concrete or muddy. Understandable if it rained all week, not the case. Overall, fun course to play, would definitely recommend and play again.
