About
Grantwood Golf Course is one of the best golf values in the greater Cleveland area. The course sits next to Timberlake Recreation Park, a scenic park with a large fishing lake and picnic areas that are perfect for outdoor gatherings. The layout features small, undulating greens that are protected by more than 40 strategically placed bunkers. Water also comes into play on 10 holes in the form of a meandering creek and several ponds. The golf course is a challenging-but-fair test for players of all skill levels. Beginners and high handicappers won't be intimidated by long forced carries and won't have to worry about losing balls on every hole. Grantwood Golf Course sprawls across gently rolling terrain and the tees are in close proximity, making this a perfect layout for walking.

Great time with great people
The course is in very good shape but oh man are those greens tricky. Practice greens (Putting and Short Game) were in great condition and gave me an idea of just how hard the short game was going to be today. Very nice staff, will definitely be keeping an eye out for hot deals here in the future.
Charged $16 per person for cart when paid ahead
We were watched charged a $16 cart fee even though we paid for the cart and greens fees through this app ahead of time. My receipt even says this includes the cart fees. Man working the counter didn’t care and said that’s an online thing you’ll have to take it up with them if you want to play golf and ride its $16 each for cart fees. Definitely got scammed…

Wide Open
This course is a driving dream as it is wide open. Loose drives are not as penal here. The course was in great shape. The greens were soft and receptive but a bit slow. All in all a great course for the money.

The lady in the Pro Shop was awesome and very helpful. A good day.
Slow Pace of Play
Good, challenging course that was in great shape. They take good care of it and the practice range is one of the best I've seen in the area. The pace of play was rough. We waited for the group in front of us on every hole on the front 9. Took about 2:50 for the front. That group left and didn't play the back so that went a little faster. 2:25 for the back. Great value and beautiful conditions, I will definitely be back
Nicely maintained coarse
nice round of golf both times i have played this year. April and end of May. greens firm, fairways fair, a little water challenge ( two holes), some creeks to be aware of. enjoyed my day.

Nice layout, poo pace of play.
The course design is really nice with a lot of variety for the layout. Greens were fast and firm and the fairways were in great shape. The challenge was there was a foursome in carts in front of us that had no concept of ready golf and pace of play. We waited on every shot and the round was close to 5 hours. We saw the first marshall on the 17th hole and when we told him, he blew us off. I won't drive an hour to play this again but for locals, it's a nic course.

Great Course
I’ve played Grantwood multiple times and it’s always been a pleasure. Good elevation changes, numerous risk-reward shots and some blind shots required. Course drainage after rain is great so having to do Cart path only is a rarity.
Only negative sometimes is the desk staff in the pro shop. He acted like he really hated his job.
