Reid Park Golf Club - South Course
About
Reid Park Golf Club has two 18-hole courses available, the North and the South. Originally opened in 1967, Reid Park has established a reputation as one of the best golf values in the area. The South Course is a challenging but playable layout, which is why it is the home course for many of the area's high school teams. The golf course is laid across gently rolling, open terrain that allows for the occasional errant shot. It has a very player-friendly nature and it is easy to walk. The course is not overly punishing but there are still a few challenges in store. If you're looking for a tougher test, the championship North Course is the way to go. In addition to Reid Park's two golf courses, there is also a driving range and two putting greens.

Just not the same unfortunately.
Played this course 20 some years ago and loved it, actually won a tournament there. Greens were rough and there's no sand in any bunkers. The people of Springfield Ohio should be seriously upset at their municipal golf courses in this condition.
Poor condition
I played the south course. Course conditions were not good. Greens were some of the worst I’ve seen. I know we went through a period of extreme heat, but the grounds keepers really dropped the ball.
I spoke to some other people who had said the North course greens were also in poor condition. The course is pretty much a wash out for the rest of this year. I will go back out next year after it’s had a chance to heal up.
Greens need help
The greens were in bad shape.A lot of bare spots and just rough.The fairways needed to be cut. A fairways lie was like first cut or even longer. I won’t be going back until I hear they have it in better shape
Someting has changed
I have played this course many times. Prior to this round, I last played in June. Course was in decent shape. Not now. Something's happened to the greens and some fairways. The greens have apparent desease, are browned out in many areas, and are quite bumpy and slow. Very sad. Hopefully management gets things repaired. Won't be back until they do.
Quality course.
Always a good deal…at Reid Park. Greens were in great shape…for this quality course.
Great shape for early spring
The course was nice and green. Greens rolled pretty true, slower than usual. Pace was a little slow about 10 minute for each tee shot.
Needs new management
This was once one of the premier tracks in the area. Unfortunately, the current management is unprofessional and underfunded. This shows in the poor maintenance of what was once a pristine pair of courses. After seeing the quality of both courses decline (and experiencing outright rudeness from the staff) I cancelled my membership with the course. I hope new management can bring this once great gem back to its former glory.
