About
Roses Run Country Club is touted as being northeast Ohio's toughest public golf course. The course has an interesting mix of holes from lengthy par 4s to tough par 3s and reachable par 5s. The front nine is a traditional links layout while the back nine hugs the Cuyahoga River with winding fairways that melt into fast, sloping greens. The layout incorporates a variety of elevation changes ranging from subtle to dramatic. There are also water hazards and strategically placed bunkers coming into play throughout. Roses Run Country Club will require some creative shot-making and the use of every club in your bag. It's a formidable layout that will test even the most skilled players. There is a driving range and practice putting green you can use for warming up, which might be a good idea before taking on this tough course.

Last Resort Course
There is no way you choose to play this course over the other courses in the area. Charge too much for what the course is. Decent conditions on a good day. Tee boxes are spongey and furry. Greens roll OK, especially compared to a few years ago. Layout is atrocious. Charging over $50 any time or day of the week is robbery. I'll play here if we are booking last minute and no other decent+ course in the area has times. No sure there is a way to fix this course.
Very nice course
Beautiful course, nice layout, friendly staff. As a first time player here, it would have been helpful to have a course map on the scorecard. Very well maintained, and a pleasure to play.
Good to play, staff not so much
The staff on the course was great, but the staff in the pro shop had no idea how to find my reservation and nearly turned me away because of it.

Sneaky Good
The layout of this course will Suprise you/ every hole is very different. Staff and crew on the course were very helpful!
The course was just too wet to cut fairways rough in the morning/ that will be taken care of.
A Test of Shotmaking!
Great course!
It was still a little wet from all of the rain, but that didn't hinder the play. The greens were in almost perfect condition. Another week of sunshine will fix that. For this time of year it is in excellent shape. I can't wait for the temps to stay warm, so I can lay it under perfect conditions!

Course is in beautiful condition. Greens were fast and true. We try to play here at least once per year.
The only negatives were the golf carts aren’t in great shape and the snack bar wasn’t stocked at all. Couldn’t even get a hot dog at the turn.
