Good round for this time of year
Ha not played here in several years. The layout of the course forces you to use most of the clubs in your bag. Obviously this early in the season still forces you to play through some winter left overs but overall it was in good shape.
Course OK, no food ready at turn
The course was fine, but one member in our foursome had to wait 10 minutes to get his food at the turn. Hopefully just an early spring issue.

Course is in great condition
I was pleasantly surprised to find the course in such good condition. The fairways were clear and the greens were great. It was a very nice experience.

Great course
Great course for a beginner like myself. My wife and I really enjoyed because no one followed us till we finished the last hole. ^^
I will revisit the course.
I'll take it.
Friendly staff. There's a Driving Range, although not maintained properly. Formal 72 course. No. 5 is forced on property. Fairways are burnt out and rotted out in a couple spotted areas. Rough is hard and burnt out in many areas. Greens roll at about an 7-8. But... This is a fun course. You can shoot low and still feel challenged. I will be playing again.
Much Better than last year
I originally played this course last year and still loved it. The only problem last year was the greens were very hard and fast so if you landed a ball anywhere on the green it was more than likely the ball would just bounce or roll right off the green. Not this year. This year the greens were much softer but still very fast. Landing a ball on the green had a nice soft landing and a couple feet of additional roll. Everything about this course was fantastic this year and I hope to return again before the season is over.
Solid course, back nine better than front
Good municipal course, greens were in good condition, our pace of play sucked because we were behind a scramble. Clubhouse is fairly small. There are rumors that some from Stow want to sell off the course, it'd be a lousy idea, Fox Den is an asset to the community.
Well manicured course
The course was in good shape. The greens were excellent. We went out after a large outing just finished. Two of us played 18 in three hours as there was nobody in front of us.The downside to the day was our 3rd got held up at work and it cost me $17.00 because its prepaid.

I had not played this course in many years. Wow those trees have grown! A great deal on golf now made the drive worth it. The greens were very good. The layout is good with the exception of hole #5, a par 5 with a dogleg at 150 yards. Some of the other holes are a little close to each other but don't worry the trees will keep you from beaning someone lol. I really enjoyed my day and hope to get back here soon!
Great city owned course
Well maintained for a city owned course. Staff and starters extremely nice and helpful.
Fix your ball marks
Course was outstanding, well maintained by crew. People when you hit the green on fly you supposed to repair the green, the only Few blemishes on green are from lazy inconsiderate people. Overall fun course
Toughest greens I've ever played
Very nice course. In good shape. Really tough greens, hard to stick them. It was a nice challenge. Only negative was, they ran out of carts. Had to wait for carts to come in before we could go out.
Good fun at a great price
It was a really lousy day and save for a few squirrels I had the course to myself. The course was in very good condition, especially this early in the season. The guy at the clubhouse was very nice and talkative. Even despite the weather, I enjoyed myself. Recommended course.

Nice Course
I brought a coleman propane heater with me which I carry in a black bag labeled "coleman" and the gentleman working at the register made a point of coming out to our cart out of suspicion that we had drinks that we were trying to sneak on. Maybe turn it down a notch? It was 10am on a Monday morning.

Great course. Always in very good condition. One complaint, they need to let people know when they aerate the greens

With the exception of the aeration, this course was a great find for a great value!
Lots of fun
This course was a lot of fun to play. It would have been a faster round if there wasn't a tournament in the late morning, but it still played fairly quick.
