Fox Den Golf Course

Good municipal course, greens were in good condition, our pace of play sucked because we were behind a scramble. Clubhouse is fairly small. There are rumors that some from Stow want to sell off the course, it'd be a lousy idea, Fox Den is an asset to the community.

The course was in good shape. The greens were excellent. We went out after a large outing just finished. Two of us played 18 in three hours as there was nobody in front of us.The downside to the day was our 3rd got held up at work and it cost me $17.00 because its prepaid.

I had not played this course in many years. Wow those trees have grown! A great deal on golf now made the drive worth it. The greens were very good. The layout is good with the exception of hole #5, a par 5 with a dogleg at 150 yards. Some of the other holes are a little close to each other but don't worry the trees will keep you from beaning someone lol. I really enjoyed my day and hope to get back here soon!

Well maintained for a city owned course. Staff and starters extremely nice and helpful.

Course was outstanding, well maintained by crew. People when you hit the green on fly you supposed to repair the green, the only Few blemishes on green are from lazy inconsiderate people. Overall fun course

Very nice course. In good shape. Really tough greens, hard to stick them. It was a nice challenge. Only negative was, they ran out of carts. Had to wait for carts to come in before we could go out.

It was a really lousy day and save for a few squirrels I had the course to myself. The course was in very good condition, especially this early in the season. The guy at the clubhouse was very nice and talkative. Even despite the weather, I enjoyed myself. Recommended course.

Plush fairways, fast greens, challenging course, love the layout, good distance on all holes, enjoyed my round I will return

I brought a coleman propane heater with me which I carry in a black bag labeled "coleman" and the gentleman working at the register made a point of coming out to our cart out of suspicion that we had drinks that we were trying to sneak on. Maybe turn it down a notch? It was 10am on a Monday morning.

Great course. Always in very good condition. One complaint, they need to let people know when they aerate the greens

With the exception of the aeration, this course was a great find for a great value!

This course was a lot of fun to play. It would have been a faster round if there wasn't a tournament in the late morning, but it still played fairly quick.

Course was in very green and in nice condition however there were many divots in the fairway before I got to my ball. Some of the greens had numerous ball marks especially on the front side. I was able to play it down in the fairways. Paired with 2 gentlemen that were a pleasure to play with. Greens may be topdressed soon.

The day was perfect. I thought for a holiday the course might be playing slow but we had a foursome of women ahead of us and we only had to wait on one hole. Course was in good condition and i shot my best round of the year! (so far...)

Pace of play was wait on nearly every hole. Sometimes they weren't short waits. We saw a ranger but never saw them push groups in front of us to pick up the pace. Greens were also an issue where ball marks were fresh and others had not been properly repaired, Food was excellent. Staff was very nice or we would have put this course in the not recommend category. Driving range works well but u had better look both ways when crossing the road. An underground tunnel would be better for safety purposes.

Starter had singles mixed in with twosomes threesome and foursomes a real mess. Called the Pro shop to send some out. the ranger rode by and said nothing. Nothing improved. 4 groups on some tees waiting. The course is getting a lot of play and the greens are beginning to show the wear.

Greens were nice, very fast , but very firm. Difficult to keep the ball on the green sometimes. Fun course will go back

Was looking to find a new course and it was totally worth the drive. The fairways were pretty narrow, a few open holes. Great condition and well up-kept. The greens were superb and moderately fast. Good challenge and breaks to them too. Good amount of sand and some water to make sure you are hitting the ball tight.

Overall this was a great course and will definitely be back.

Course was in great shape - staff was excellent. Played other courses (Elsworth Meadows) where they don't let you tee of later in the evening. Elsworth was more concerned about closing then letting you play golf. The starter and staff were great at ensuring we got to play golf and were not concerned about closing up for the night. When we finished the starter even came over to ensure we enjoyed our round. Great experience.
