Fox Den Golf Course

We alternate 3 courses thru the spring thru Fall and this course we always enjoy playing. We play about 12 times a season and have always enjoyed the people who run it to the ladies in the snack shop ! Play it and enjoy !

This course cam play difficult if you dont keep your ball in play. Tree lined and most holes you can see the trouble ahead of you. Always a nice staff and pro-shop and GREAT food at the turn !

Fox Den's fairways are in better shape than most competitive area courses. Also the general layout is inviting. We play at a number of courses and always include Fox Den. The staff is very good and the food and lunch area appealing.

Overall this has to be one of the best around.

I wish this golf couse had different levels of membership, so I could play it more regularly.

With the loss of 4 courses in the area in 2016 this course will be stressed in 2017, Very good value in 2016, let's see if it holds up in 2017.

Play Fox Den every Saturday and it's always enjoyable. Greens are always great, pace of play excellent and definitely a challenging course.

Great food in the snack bar as well. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Played with my dad for the holiday weekend and had a great time. Staff was super friendly when we checked in and was professional by sticking with the designated tee times. They did t just put people off in front of others. Course was semi challenging and difficult. Over all had a great time. Stayed to play another nine for a buck a hole. Will defenitely play again.

Love the course. Greens were in good condition,carts were clean,fairways give extra roll because of the draught,sand traps are sandy.

Although the pace was very slow, the course was in great condition considering the lack of rain. Well worth the 90 mile drive.

Used to play this course a lot when I lived on the east side, but I haven't been in a few years and its even nicer than I remember. The greens are smaller that average and quick, the fairways are in great shape. The rough is getting a little thin, but that's due to the drought and I won't hold it against them. Even though this course is on the shorter side, there are plenty of elevation changes and doglegs that keep the player engaged, no banging away with a driver out here. I need to add this course back to my rotation.

One note: this course seems to be home to several weekday senior and women's leagues. So play can be a little slow at times.

What more can I say? Keep coming back for the beauty and serenity of the course. Well kept and well managed!

This is my third time playing Fox Den G.C. and the course was in great condition, despite lack of rain that is much needed in the area. This can be a tough course to play with its tree lined fairways so if you spray the ball then breaking 90 will be difficult. We played on a very hot day but there was a cart girl out to take care of any drinks that you needed. Just a fun course to play and will be back again soon to play another round. I live 58 miles from this course or else I would play it more often.

The Staff was great, they even accommodated my 2 friends being punks and cancelling on me. The course was well kept. There were yellow jackets in just about every sand trap, but I've personally seen that a lot in the area so I wasn't all that bothered by it. My BIG issue was the pace. They let a 5 some go out in front of us (I was grouped with a 2-some, which was fine). The 5-some wasn't very good (I'm not very good either, but I play fast and stay within the etiquette for pace of play), so we waited hole after hole and it was really frustrating.

We played 18 holes on a sunny day that suddenly turned to rain at the end, but the rain didn't last long and the course was great! The staff was amazing! Wonderful snack bar with excellent sandwiches and very friendly people. It was very hot and they had ice water waiting at the turn. We will definitely golf at Foxden again!

The course is in beautiful condition. The greens are very nice. The layout is challenging for all players but quite manageable.The staff are very helpful and friendly.

Fox Den is a good muni track. Day I played there was no pace of play issue and course was in generally good shape. The one thing I found odd though was that there was no water anywhere on the course. No fountains and no water coolers. Odd that something so basic would be missing. Also there wasn't a cart girl on the course so if you were thirsty you better had hoped you had a water bottle in your bag.

Fox Den has always been one of my favorite courses in the Cleve - Akron area. Once again, the course was in great condition, especially the greens. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The course is set up to accommodate all levels of play (one of the most woman friendly around). And, not many public courses have practice facilities anywhere near the quality of this course.

Fox Den is in excellent condition and pace of play for 18 holes was just under 4 hours.

I have played at this course since I have been playing golf. 20+ years. The course is in the best shape I've ever seen it. Greens are incredible right now. You won't be upset.
