Gleneagles Golf Club
About
Gleneagles Golf Club, which is owned by the city of Twinsburg, is ranked as one of the area's top 15 most challenging courses, though, it is more player friendly than it seems. Beginners won't feel too out of place but accuracy is needed on this course with water coming into play on 11 holes and more than 20 strategically placed bunkers. The water hazards are particularly tricky. The fairways are lush and manicured and the well maintained greens putt fast and true. There are also some significant elevation changes throughout the golf course. A smattering of trees dots the landscape but most of the holes are wide open. It is a good challenge without being too intimidating. In addition to the course, Gleneagles Golf Club offers a driving range and putting green for golfers to warm up before their tee time.

Congratulations
Congratulations to the management for improving the course and amenities each year.
I'd like the run off areas on the fairway to be cut an inch or 2 shorter but my fault I suppose for not hitting the middle of the fairway every time.
Course is in great shape and the revised hole sequence is an improvement (SatNav companies take note!) Can't wait for the 19th hole to be finished.
Signature of Solon could learn something from Glen Eagles.
Home Course
It’s great to be back , my home course . What I would like to see is trimming to be done , the greens are to soft and there’s no color other than green . Note the greens are in great shape
2 some holds up 4 some
How can a twosome hold up a foursome for an entire course? When we let them know at the turn the ranger came out spoke to them and went away, they never moved any faster, two clowns playing the back tees, hitting several balls each hole and just going as slow as possible with no one in front of them. Also, goose dung everywhere, so excuse for that.
Gleneagle twinsburg
First of all it's a beautiful course hands down but my buddy john and I played the front 9. Fun course but the only problem is if your not a resident of T burg and just want to play 9 holes. Your paying 25$!!!!! If you are a resident I believe it's like 22$ so not much of a difference. If you have ever played Racoon hill in Ohio, you pay 14$ for 9 plus cart. I would not recommend this course only because of the prices. It's a great course but for 9 holes/25$ that's outrageous. Also no bathrooms on front 9 to go anywhere so your outta luck.
Great golf experience
Course remains in great shape despite dry conditions. Best to play from blue tees if you are bogey golfer or better. Wide variety of holes and get to use most of the clubs in your bag. Tough but we'll manicured greens. Course improvements of last couple years are to be commended. Prior problem with bumpy tee boxes is all but gone with 14 boxes having been redone and the last four to be completed this fall. Solitude on almost every hole even though course is built through housing development.
STAFF DESERVES ZERO
DON'T PLAY HERE. STAFF WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND COURSE IS AVERAGE AT BEST. YOU CAN ENJOY A ROUND AT PLENTY OF OTHER PLACES.
Great course
Course condition was as good as any CC and would recommend to anyone to play. Not extremely long but tight and challenging. Greens are a test for the best of players.
Great little track!
They really have done a nice job with their improvements over the years. Breezed thru the front 9 but the back was slow. For whatever reason they were sending 9 hole players of the back so the round came to a stretching halt after the turn. All in all we really enjoyed the course and we definitely will be back!
Course conditions were very good. Staff was friendly.
Greens and fairways were in excellent conditions. The tee boxes on the back nine ( I understand are new) were in good condition but very hard to insert tees. Pace of play was quite slow...needs rangering. Will play again!
Hidden gem
This was the first time playing the course. It was cart only due to all the rain. The course is very scenic and beautiful. Once the greens fill in, it will be complete. The back 9 has all new tee boxes. The layout is challenging but fair, I'm a high handicap and it was a pleasure playing. I will be back again especially when a hot deal is available.
Beautiful course! Great price!
Gleneagles is one of the nicest courses in the area!
Very good course
Price was excellent. Course is challenging, but fair. Fast greens and grear fairways. Disappointed that quite a few holes on back nine were going thru extens ive repars, but this is the end of the season and I understand. Will be back next year.
Good course- lots of construction now- will be better next year
I am a regular here, so I may be biased, or well-informed. The greens were recently aerified and top-dressed, but rolled well and in very good condition. Fairways were also very good, with no bad lies to speak of. Most tee boxes on back nine were under construction, with temporary tees in front of original tee boxes. This is a much needed change, since Gleneagles has had problems with tees not being level. Many fairway and greenside bunkers are being constructed/installed as we speak, and won't be ready on the back nine until next year. This is a good public course at a fair price, that has been improved, and will continue to improve next year. If you haven't played Gleneagles recently, I would say wait until 2016 when most/all the changes have been implemented. The driving range is also vastly improved and expanded
The course is under construction now with many changes.
Holes 10 - 18 are under construction and sure have been shut down for all of the changes, all tee boxes are moved up the the front of the fairways without warning from the pro shop or signs. The staff was negative toward Golf Now booking service, "We do make anything from golf now booking so you can talk to them about you problems. I respect what golf provides for me as a golfer and think that if the course doesn't like using GN, they need to get out of the relationship. But the changes to the course are going to make the course better "next" year
Good course
Front nine are good, even some maintenance on green. However, lots of working on back nine. Hope it could be done before the beginning of next season.
Nice Course - Great Condition (Outside of irrigation work)
Never played here before but the course was in great condition considering all the dry weather. They were updating sand traps and doing irrigation on a couple of holes which created an obstacle.
The greens and the doglegs made us use all clubs in our bag. Perfect course for the mid to high handicapper.
Not bad for Sunday afternoon
I thought for Sunday afternoon the pace of play was fine. The tee boxes however are disastrous. Maybe 3 out of 18 were flat, the rest are all convex so the ball was either way above or below my feet. Some greens appeared to be much slower than others.
Pretty good
Course is always in pretty good shape. Greens a lil tricky. Only negative is course doesn't seem to drain well after rain. I play anytime I can catch them on a hot deal.
Great Course, Great conditions
The course is in fantastic shape, such a beautiful/hilly course. Not your typical boring flat course. Loved the layout on the front, we only played the front.
Only negative, the range/practice greens and first 2 tee boxes were reseeded, so none of that was available. That was a bummer, but it looks so nice and is close to ready. Can't wait to go back when open.
