Overrated
Was visiting Canton & played on the recommendation of a local. Very avg course in desperate need of water. No tee box signs of the holes. No water to drink on the course. No cart girl. Played the tips...some very long par 4's on back side make it interesting but fairways were so hard that you could not take a divot. There are other nearby courses I prefer before returning.
great staff
we got there at 6:45 am, and got right off of the tee. There was not anyone to collect our money in yet so we were just politely asked to pay after. We did and the guy working the front desk was amazing, and thanked us for coming. This was a great experience. And I won!!!

Always a fun track
Always a fun track to play....and one of the few courses in the area that actually has a full practice area and above average range balls, compared to other courses in the area.

Rude surprises
No drawings of holes on card or at tee. Unknown hazards turn good shots into bad for players unfamiliar with layout.
There is a course lay out available upon request, and with today's technology GPS is also available on any smart phone
Great course...
Really enjoyed our time on the course. On hole 16 (?) there is a marsh on the right side that smelled so bad I almost threw up. A group of older men in front of us that were hammered drunk made it a little less fun to play behind them for 2 hours.
Overall great course. Great layout. Not too hard but not easy.
Will play there again for sure.

Greens are not consitent and ruff needs better care Fairwsys and tee boxes are good
Unfortunately with the drought conditions that most of the state of Ohio are currently dealing with, most courses in the area are having similar issues with the rough, unless you have a system in place to water the rough. And the only course I know of in the area with such a system is the South course at Firestone. Some of the courses will over water the fairways to let it run into the rough and then you get extremely soggy fairways and greens with water overflowing the cups. Let's think about our comments, huh...Raintree is a very nice track and well worth the money compared to other courses in the area.
Not worth the money
A little pricey for this course. Sand traps weren't in great shape.
I play a lot of courses in the area, and Raintree has the most consistent bunkers of any course in the area with similar rate structures. You could easily pay much more for worse conditions. Raintree is by far one of the best courses in the area for the money
excellent course, challenging but fair
course was in excellent, poa greens were rolling extremely nice and somewhat fast. fairways in excellent shape, sand traps also, rough was as it should be, rough but not over penalizing. tees in good shape and I could even get the tee into the ground. over all and excellent course and a fair challenge. scorecard could have a course layout which would help find unseen hazards.

Best Course in Area
I live an hour away and this course is worth the drive every time. The course is always in beautiful shape, the greens roll fast and true, the pace of play is good. Even with a rain delay my partner and I finished in under 4 hours. Possibly my favorite in all of NE OH. Make the drive, you will be happy.

Great course, but SLOW
After a deluge the night before, the course was very playable. Although traps were flooded. But over 5 hours to play 18 holes, SOMEthing really has to be done to improve this.
Unfortunately with the extreme wet conditions, play would have been a little slow anywhere, imagine if cart path only was enforced.... Something to think about...

Very satisfied
The course layout was fantastic. The conditions were also in very good shape. There was a delay once my group made the turn, with two groups in front of us, and the group behind us even pulled up before we teed off on 10. With that being said I look forward to returning to Raintree CC

Slow play and no rangers
Course was in nice shape. There were no Rangers to address slow pay. Course did not combine singles to help alleviate slow play. Frustrating round.
Won't be back soon. Too many other courses in the area to choose from.

Allowed 5-somes out on a Sunday. Course wasn't in the greatest shape either.

Not the same Raintree
The course is in much better shape than in past seasons...you can tell they are putting money into the course to make one of the desired courses to play in the area. All new sand in the bunkers, fairways cut nice, and greens are fast and true thanks to double cutting and a roll.

Poor planning
Course is entertaining layout. Condition was early season with bunker issues and long grass. Understandable with Ohio weather. The advertised 18 holes turned into 9 bc of leagues. Poor planning in my opinion. Don't register 18 holes if leagues are going off both 9s. Still enjoyed my 9.

Raintree has always been great
We played only 9 holes this time because the weather was going to pour on us. This course is always beautiful and just couldn't ask for a more beautiful Course.

Great Course
This course is always in great shape. It rained heavily the day before, so you didn't get much roll, but it drained very well. The greens were slower than normal, they are usually pretty fast. Overall, a great round of golf in spite of the cooler weather. And an amazing Hot Deal price from GolfNow.

This course is a must play
Can not say enough. Raintree is in great shape, the grounds staff has done a fantastic job whipping this course into shape. This is the best shape I have seen Raintree in for a while. Greens have been rolled, bunkers with fresh sand and spruced up, fairways and tee's are very nice, and the rough is thick and ready to get you if you miss the fairway's and greens. There are several courses in this area but none have the length and challenges of Raintree. And fewer have a Driving range with a putting and chipping area in such close proximity of each other, very convenient. If you haven't played here for a while you need to check it out. If you never played here, well do your self a favor and come play you'll be glad you did.

Winter Golf
Early February in NE Ohio is not normally spent on the course. Taking that into consideration it was a very good round of golf.

great course if not wet from rain
After rain greens are very wet, and cart paths are limited.
