Raintree Country Club

The layout is fantastic, tee boxes were good, fairways average, rough uneven which made finding errant shots a little difficult at times, bunkers were mostly in need of sand and a good raking, the greens were inconsistent and had many ball marks on them. I repaired at least three on every green besides my own. There are numerous areas of the course where additional drain tile is needed to relieve wet and rutted areas. With the creek and numerous ponds, hole layouts on the scorecard or tee markers would definitely help with speed of play, otherwise a course gps app is a necessity to avoid hidden danger. The 18th hole with a fairway split by a creek and a hidden green flanked by two ponds and fronted by the creek is a great hole, but a prime example of the need for a hole layout with yardages.

Course was in great shape but the carts are way too far from the parking lot and it seemed to be over booked as we were constantly being held up. The staff was less then friendly & took me over 5 minutes to find someone to help me after entering the pro shop.

Green in excellant condition. Challanging. Water hidden on a few holes. # 18 water surprise that could play into club selections. Watch for pines on a hole because the cart path runs to close and limbs swing out and hit you. The only problem was they had an outing and at the turn it was really jambed up. But we still finished in about 4 hours. Would play the course again.

Played on a nice Saturday. Course was full as you would expect. Course was in great shape but play was painfully slow. Our 2 some grouped up with a 3 some behind us after 3 holes and as a 5 man group in hopes of slowing ourselves down a little to not be right in top if them. We still waited 5-10 minutes on every shot and the group behind is was very impatient and hit into us a few times. I am a 11 hdcp and my dad is a 7 so we weren't slapping it around there just wasn't anywhere to go. The round was 5 hrs and change.

The course is decent shape with a few challenging holes. Greens are in good shape. Bunkers were not in good shape though. It was like hitting off the cart path.

Every time my husband and I play there we are always challenged and we love to take in the beauty of the course.

Course was a great condition but the starter was very rude;starter sent 2 foursomes off on the back 9 in front of us while we were trying to make the turn...he also made us wait 40 mins when nobody was on teebox,slightly disappionted bc of the customer service. Love the course but we were clearly not welcomed. We will not return.

Excellent value for nine holes in afternoon. Challenging course, well manicured. For as much rain as we have had, course looked great. Played yellow tees / glad to have a distance that matches current level of play.

The course was a little wet from the recent rain but grass was well managed not thick as some area courses and lived up to it's rating.

a little busy for the 4th of july,but overall a nice track.just a little peaved that the starter put a 5some at the turn in front of us

Granted it was a Saturday afternoon, but the greens were inconsistent and, for the most part, bumpy. The layout of the course was fine. No stupid holes. Some very pretty ones, but not many. I would play it again, but only for a severely discounted rate.

This course is beautiful but too many of the players shouldn't be allowed on it. The greens are in great shape except for all the ball marks that are left unrepaired. The same for divots in the fairways.

It took over five hours to play. Again, a reflection on the players and their lack of respect for the game.

I would like to play here again and hope to have the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful golf course.

The only real bad thing about this course is the pace of play.

Every hole at raintree was somewhat different and presented their own challenges, but the common factor was that you can use driver on every hole besides the par 3's as most of the course is open enough to stay out of trouble. Even so, the terrain and rolling hills make it interesting, along with water on a few holes. I enjoyed a nice day here and plan to get back as soon as I can.

Good shape course even with all the rain this year.Greens had a lot of play but not bad shape. Fairways we'll maintained. Course is challenging in some spots, but forgiving in others. Busy but played around in about 4 and 1/2 hours

Most of the better courses in the area have greens fees that are higher than ever, even when you book with golfnow. You can get a great rate here and the course is nice and the staff seem focused on making sure everyone has a great experience. Just stay away from this course after a heavy rain.....it doesn't drain as well as it should.....

I play this course often. It is one of my favorites in the Akron Canton Madina area. It is a beautiful course challenging well-maintained and reasonably priced. The only negative is it has some slow to dry areas on the course, and it rained hard this week and there were many very wet holes.

One of my top 5 favorites in Northeast Ohio. Even with the deluge of rainfall, the course played very well. The staff, including the owner was out repairing damage caused by the heavy rains. Shows how much the staff and owner cares! Always a joy to play there.

I enjoyed playing at Raintree very much. and would recommend it to my friends.

this course is fantastic. Beautiful conditions, great layout out with some challenges. Good combination of distance and shot making. Not an advantage to hit the ball a ton. Two comments- 1. could have been easier pins on a Saturday to promote faster play. 2. Starter needs to be more aware of who he is pairing up, 2 10s and a 15 got paired with a 36+. Worth the drive, hackers stay home.
