Greens
Well boys its just that time of year again :( the greens were aireated. Give it a week or two if putting is your priority. As far as the fairways and T boxes good shape.Not much leaf trouble all in all still a real bargin !

Good value, course in great shape
I have played here before and the staff is always very friendly. The course is in excellent shape and played 18 holes in 4 1/2 hours.

nice course
Nice course, but nothing special. No starter, and nothing telling you the hole layouts. Have no idea about dog legs or water. Glad i didnt pay their full price.
Hi "Joel7821936" Thank you for taking the time to review our course. Because of the hot weather we are slower this time of year and do not need a starter. We wish you would of asked the golf shop staff for some pointers on the course, we would of loved to give you a little more insight.
the greens where in great shape
the course was in good shape the greens where true , but hard to read.

a steal
14.00 Hot Deal price for 18 at 10:30 a.m. in July is a steal. This is one of the only course around still with green fairways.

Great course bad time managing
The day we played they apparantly had 3 golf outings. The first was apparantly finishing up when we arrived which we were 40 mins early then nobody played for about 20 mins before the second outing started the front and the 3rd outing started on the back 9. We had to wait 40 mins after our tee time before we finally got to tee off then it was just super slow going after that we waited on every tee box atleast 5-10 mins before teeing off lucky for us they obly played 9 and the first 7 holes on the back we played in 45 mins them caught the last group of the third outing (which the group in front of them was 2holes ahead of them) qnd it took an hour to play last 2 holes. Just bad managing of the course and tee times but it was in great shape just slow play made it hard to enjoy ourselves

Not up to par
Course has seen better days. Drainage seems to be an issue. Rough was so long that you couldn't find your ball until you were directly on top of it which effected play for everyone. Lots of bare spots and cart damage in the fairways. Bunkers need more sand. Rocks need to be removed from the bunkers.

Tees and fairways were perfect. Greens were smooth to putt.

excellent conditions for a public course
Very nice , close cut fairways. Many greens are uphill, so ball must be carried to the green , rather than bounced on.
Pace of play was bad, due to a twosome that must have been playing for a lot of cash. They were holding up a foursome in front of us on every shot. Never saw a marshal the entire round..
Good value
18 holes for $15 is a steal. Rained all day and course was flooded in some areas. Holds were filled with water. Still had fun though.
Ripping NE Ohio Golf Courses in APRIL?
I'm going to respond to the people who ripped this golf course after playing in early- or mid-April. Guys, we live in NE Ohio! The weather is brutal and NO courses are in decent shape the 2nd week of April, period.
If you want great mid-summer conditions I suggest you travel to and play in Florida. Your reviews are completely unfair.
I played Raintree Mother's Day. Course was in very good condition for only being May 10. After the brutal winter and unfavorable spring weather we've had, the course was in pretty good shape. Give ALL course superintendents a break, ok?
Bad greens
The putting greens were in terrible condition... The course is also hard to navigate... Other than that it's a great place.
Swamp land
Mostly every hole was still in the what seemed like forever process of draining the water to wherever it needed to go. Even great shots down the middle of the fairway stuck 4 inches deep. To top it all off the greens were still in extremely rough condition from last years airing out process.
A great public course in Uniontown, Ohio
Raintree is a wonderful public course in the area. Can get busy at times, especially around holidays. Book early and enjoy its moderate length layout. There really is not much in regards to hazards until you reach the back 9. A great shot-makers course.
They cram people on
Played here 7 times this year. Same problem every time. They cram as many people on as possible. There was 4 groups of 4 with starting times between 12:12-12:24. Plus all the people teeing off. I made it thru hole 15 and quit bc I was at 5 hours and 15 mins. They don't have a starter and their hurting for money so it's crazy. I watched and I didn't see people playing slow. It's just 3-4 groups per hole. I'm done coming here
Greens were good
Very wet day, fairways were in good condition, sand traps were wet and very hard, difficult to play out of.

Great course to play. The staff is super friendly. The course is always in great condition. Probably my favorite course around this area.
A Holiday at Raintree
Course is in good condition given the lousy summer, Greens were hard to read and a bit slow. Interesting course with a very friendly staff
beautiful day
Played Raintree on Tuesday August 26 and it a beautiful day. 85 and sunny. The course was in decent shape but the bunkers were in terrible shape. Played there 5 years ago and it was a lot nicer. Definitely worth the $15 I paid on golf now
