Slightly better then average
Fun course to play. Love the elevaged tees. Some tricky part 3s. Nice restaurant on site. Nice big touch screen gps on carts.

Course Conditions
The Greens Are in Very bad Shape For the Price they Charge At $50.00 They Should be charging $38.00 at the Most. Nice track but they need to Take care of the greens better And Staff has VERY RUDE About this. We are here to golf and get away from life for a little bit.
This course has holes for all levels
This course has holes that will challenge your club selection as well as build your cofidence as a golfer. We found it to an enjoyable round of golf and we will stop back again
Very Nice Course!
Love playing here, great course especially for the money, well maintained, gps carts, it's below par in the sense of golf (birdie for you rookies) that's good in golf.
Great Course
The course overall was great.
2 areas could use inprovement
1) Signage too mich guessing where to Tee off esp #1
2) Don't let carpenters work literally in the middle of tve fairway #17 while golf is being played

Great course with some challenging holes!
The weather here has been extremely dry so there are some rough spots throughout the course. That's no different on any course in this area for this time of year.
All in all a great course!
Cut in front of at the turn?!?
We played an early afternoon round on a fairly busy day. I was surprised to not see a starter. It was pretty much first come first serve on the first tee. The conditions were not very good, extremely dry rough. The greens though were above average and rolled nicely. GPS on the carts always nice.
Biggest disappointment was that when we made the turn there was a group on the 10th tee that was not in front of us. They played really slow and we never once saw a ranger. What was pacing for a round of maybe 4:15 became closer to 5 hours and could have easily been prevented if the staff paid attention a little bit.
Favorite course
I love playing golf at Cherokee Hills. I play my best golf there.

Good Course
This course has just enough hazards to be challenging but not overwhelming. Very nice greens.
Pace of Play Issue
Unfortunately we were the 1st foursome out after the last foursome of a full course outing. The front 9 holes were extremely slow taking over 3 hours to play. We played the back 9 in 1:45. It would have been nice to know we would be following an outing. We could have delayed our tee time to make the round enjoyable. This course has a fair number of outings. I suggest you call to be sure you do not have the same experience as we had.
Great Course just one issue
This is one of my favorite courses. The only issue that I had was the pond on the par 3 3rd was full of dead fish and it smelled terrible
Fun to play
Course in good shape... New GPS is a great feature.
greens are divoted
This course will have a lot of play from not so etiquette players due to a 4 course package deal. Even though it is early in the season, greens were very bumpy from disrespectful players. Hard to analyze this early in the season but seems this course was better years ago.
Good course.......
Course has a mix of nicely laid out and some plane Jane holes. Worth the 45 minute drive to play.
Variety of Landscapes
The weather was perfect. Sunshine and 75 degrees. Course in very good condition. Very enjoyable day for celebrating 48 years of marriage with my wife and playing golf!
Not as good as usual
I have played this course a couple times per year the last few years and know what to expect. It is a pretty easy course that is usually in decent shape. The round yesterday was Sllloooooowww. An outing was playing in the groups in front of us that included bad players. A little heads up from the counter or starter might have been nice. Saw a ranger but basically just drove by the course and did not help. The course was also a little beat up. The fairways have not recovered from the dry weather in August. Most of the greens were in good shape.
We are extremely sorry about your not so good experience at the course! We thank you for your honest review and we will speak to the starters and rangers so that we can solve this problem.

My favorite golf course
If you haven't try this one, do it! You won't be disappointed. Very good looking golf course, that I enjoy playing every time I'm out there. I just love it. Only concern I would have is that at times is little busier and you might not get a tee time when you want. Book it and enjoy it! They have gps on every cart that helps a lot if you don't have distance finder. It also monitors carts that are in front or around you that is at times hard to see. Very nice feature.

refund
coppertop golf course gave me a refund(18 holes) because they had a girls high school outing that day. i had a tee time at 4:21.for 9 holes. thanks coppertop
