Beckett Ridge Golf Club was designed by Jack Kidwell, a well known name in Ohio golf. The course has a classic design that is inlaid with meandering streams that weave through stands of mature trees. The rolling landscape was deftly incorporated into the golf course. The layout offers a variety of holes ranging from long to short, tight to open. It is definitely a course that requires some strategy. One of the most memorable holes is the par-5 fifth. It measures 541 yards, but this downhill hole plays much shorter. There are out-of-bounds on either side and the tricky fairway slopes right to left but with some strategy and a little skill it is possible to make it home in two. Beckett Ridge is one of Southwest Ohio's best golf courses.

Dont care about the golfer

They have tee times during leagues and you have to wait til the leagues tee off before you can go out. Tee time was at 4:44pm and had to wait til the league teed off and didnt tee off until 5:30pm. Paid for 18 and only got 9 holes in because had to play behind the league which took 3 hours to play 9 holes. Was not able to get a rain check to come back for the other 9 since apparently it was the twilight time.

this course could be great.

A drive thriugh the parking lot describes this course. This course used to be a private club...but now is public and i is in a state of despair . Parking lot and cart paths all could use some blacktop. Inside the clubhouse needs some updating...to include the bathroom and carpet. Course was in decent shape and was fun...nobody replaces divots or ball marks....and for the money i would play somewhere else next time.

Nice course

Facility is worn and needs TLC. The course is in good shape with some challenging blind shots and plenty of elevation changes.

Great day!

We noticed that the course seems to be overbooked. It was pretty, in pretty good shape, and challenging. We thought the hot deal was a great way for us to check on the condition of the course. The greens were able to hold the ball.

Not worth weekend price

Decent course and friendly staff but not worth the weekend sat morning price and aggravation of slow play (too many screw offs playing course). Play it during week or later in day - cheaper and better pace of play generally. Even if slow play, at least you didn't pay as much!!

Bad Course Pace of Play

5 hours to play golf and my first time i have to cancel a tee time because it was overbook.. If you like to be 5 to 6 hours in a course this is the place to be. Also star is not friendly.

Beckett Ridge

Course was in good shape and well maintained. First three holes are a little eccentric, but not bad. Greens were in great shape and rolled very true.
The cart paths are detoriating as is the main parking lot, both in need of attention and blacktop. The main facility is also on the decline and needs maintenance. Golf course itself is worthwhile playing despite the lack of proper long term maintenance for cart paths and parking lot blacktop.

Not what it once was

This course was once a gem in the middle of West Chester. Over the years mgt has turned over several times and the overall conditions have really gone down hill. Besides the course conditions and lackluster facilities, they double and triple book their tee times. Yesterday there was literally 6 groups on the first tee box. Took almost 6 hours to play. This is a consistent problem with them. I keep going back hoping it gets better but yesterday was the last I will play at Beckett ridge. There are to many options in the area to deal with the trouble.

Tee times

The tee times are only spaced 8 minutes apart. Therefore, we ended up being very backed up from the get go.

Great Course, Long Rounds

We booked a 10:38 Tee Time. We arrived early, in anticipation of a hot afternoon ahead. Pace of play was dreadfully slow, with each hole typically having 3 groups on it at once all day. Staff is friendly, course is gorgeous with tight turns on some holes with accompanying course side houses coming into play on mis hits. Price is fair, given deals on Golfnow and quality of course versus minor time inconvenience. Great course to spend some quality time for father and son duos.

Pace of play is terrible

This is my 4-5th time playing this course, I have played during the week, early in in the day, middle of the day, late in the day. No matter what time you play out here it is also extremely slow. Each round takes between 5-5.5 hours. There are no rangers, no starter, no one to keep pace of play up. I will NOT play this course ever again, and would not recommend it to anyone unless you want to wait on every shot, on every hole.

Will test your golfing skills

Played on 6/2, with Cincinnati weather being only a 55 degree high. Played at 7:16 ... fairways were cut, greens were cut and in excellent shape, both for putting and accepting fairway shots. I will recommend Beckett Ridge to anyone looking for an excellent golf course, with a varied range of tee boxes and golf holes. Has been very wet in the Cincinnati and and the sand bunkers that have been addressed were great, but some bunkers were not addressed.

FANTASTIC COURSE

We drove from Columbus, Oh to play this course and what a beautiful course it is. It was worth the drive to play such a nice course . Overlooks Cincinnati and is breath taking. The greens and fairways are in awesome shape. Play moved very quickly did not have to wait long at all, only on the par 3 holes..A lot of hills and challenging greens but not to difficult for the average golfer. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely play this course again. Group golfer rates are definitely worth playing this course again.

Course good, but

Greens, fairways, rough and sand good to very good. But, the overall condition of cart paths, and walk off areas were poor and detracted from overall experience. Still, I would play again only if I got a good deal. Course layout and many other aspects are excellent. I wish they put some money in and restored course to a what it could be.
