Worst experience.5 hours 10 min to finish a round.
Poor Planning
Course is nice. But they had a wedding and wouldn’t let us play the 10th hole because it’s to close to the reception. So stupid.

One of the best in the area
This is a great course and outstanding value at $65. It’s like playing a private club. Great layout. Well kept. Challenging greens. First class facilities. I try and play here every week. If they could only re-do the ninth hole it would be just about perfect.

Friendly staff. It was scheduled to rain mid round, the staff offered us to replay the front 9 if we wanted to get it in before the rain (we were a twosome). We opted not and got wet, but it was nice to have the option. Always enjoy a round at NYCC.

some layouts are well thought out some not
The greens are almost unplayable for a mid handicapper like myself. Ball doesn't stop ....much too fast.
Teed off at 1005 came off the course at 255 no readon for a 5 hr round. No rangers
The layout has few holes that are memorable and a few being poorly designed (7, 9 and 18 to name a few) the rough is thick and the course has many steeply up and down holes
The range is unappealing and the balls are older than my parents.
. I wanted to enjoy it. I did not
Beautiful course!
Excellent course with a challenging layout. The greens were fast but they rolled true and were in great shape. We had a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were in town for a wedding and would highly recommend this course.

Beautiful Golf Course
The New York Country Club (NYCC) is a well maintained semi-private golf course located at Spring Valley, New York. A challenging course with a high rating and slope. NYCC offers new golf carts, range balls, a putting green and a sand trap to practice. There is a beautiful golf club house, which has been recently renovated. It is an ideal place to have special events such as golf outings and weddings at NYCC.

Great layout in excellent condition. Very fair and you can put up a score. Only hole I don’t like is 9. Everything else is great.

NYCC is one of the nicest semi-private clubs around. The course is challenging and very well maintained. Everyone was extremely nice and outgoing. Third time I've played there and I'll keep coming back. Thanks NYCC

Excellent green, Awesome Chicken wings.
I played golf today, Despite full reservations, it was managed well, so I could play comfortably without being pushed back. It was a very exciting game because the green got better and the speed was faster. And I strongly recommend you to try chicken wings among the foods you want to grill. It is as good as any other restaurant.

Seaview Stay & Play Golf Package
Thank you for your comments, on occasion when we have an outside ceremony we do ask a few groups to skip 10 and go straight to 11, and than finish up their round on the 10th hole. Ceremonies generally last approximately 30 minutes. This does not happen every weekend, only a few times a year.
We do apologize for any inconvenience and hope that you finished your round on hole #10, we would never want for a group not to play a full 18.
