New York Country Club

Played the course with possibility of rain. Only had few drizzles during 1st 5 holes. In preparation for the winter, the greens were very very slow. Tee boxes needed attention since they were sloping and uneven. We played through the rain and puddles and cold. Only few players were left on the course. Stopped by the clubhouse after 9 holes. No one was attending the bar/cafe. Self coffee was either all out or cold. Watched Masters until the rain slowed down. When we finished the round around 4pm, the club house and pro shops were all closed. However, golf cart attendant was nice enough to wait for us to finish.

The weather was cloudy, but the course and green staff were all good.

Course was in great shape this late in the season. Enjoyable. Staff was friendly and helpful. You can’t ask for much more at this time with COVID

Played a rd this Sunday. Took 5.5 hrs. This was on top of a 2/2.5 hr frost delay. So, spent 7.5 hrs at the course. With such a delay, you'd think they'd pay more attention to pace of play... but no attention paid at all... We were the 5th group out for the day and still took us 5.5 hrs. Only 2 in our group ended up finishing and other 2 had to bail on 15th because of how long it was taking. The group ahead of us played very slow (bad golfers playing from the tips and not ready golf w/ at least 1 hole open in front of them by the 4th hole), but no rangers on the course or someone at the turn to speed them up. We waited at least 5 mins at the tee box and on the fairway every single hole. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! What a waste of money and my Sunday morning...

Well maintained course with fun layout/features. 18th hole is great finishing hole leading up the hill back to the clubhouse. Greens are in great shape and very fast. The staff are very helpful true country club feel, the starter is on point. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for and not outrageous for course in this good of condition in nyc area.

Good option in Rockland County for golf. Fun layout and quality conditions. I feel like it was better a few years back but still a great option in the area. Hole 10 is a lot of fun hitting your tee shot several feet above the hole.

This is a great course to play. Friendly staff with kudos to Robin who goes the extra mile on the way out and when u get back. Course was in great shape with the exception of lots of ball marks on greens (who’s fault is that?)Not my first time there and won’t be my last.
