New York Country Club

I have played this course a couple times over the past couple years. Staff is always friendly and helpful. This year it seems like they made a lot of improvements on things that I thought were poor in the past. I played on a 75 degree day in March. They had to be sold out but we finished in under 4 1/2 hours. I saw rangers driving around the whole time I was there. The bunkers that used to be rock hard got more sand and are in good condition now. The food is the best it has ever been there. It was delicious and came extremely quick. And the pro shop was completely filled with new items from Malbon, Greyson, and Gfore. It really looks like they put a lot of work into the course and golfer experience this year. Can’t wait to come back again!

Have played multiple times! Never had an issue getting a tee time. They are really accommodating and go above and beyond when you walk through the door. I was greeted by Jesse when I went to pay. Gave me a great suggestion on which balls to use. Also asked me I needed anything else. I said a transfusion may help my swing. To my surprise on hole 3 the ranger came by with a transfusion. Overall amazing experience! Will be back and recommend!

You won’t find a better course in Rockland across the board. From the conditions to the options they have, top Rockland county course and even cheaper than others. You’ll have a fun time here no matter what. Course layout is different than most others and gives a different feel throughout the 18. Greens aren’t for the weak but they roll true. All you’d want from a country club for a public course price. Won’t beat it.

You really cannot find a better course in the area that provides the quality of care on and off the course like NYCC does. During the summer both fairways and greens are pristine but for conditions in both March or even October they still continue to maintain their high standards of great golf. The staff on and off the course are both professional and personable making you feel like you’re at home away from home.

One of the nicer courses open to the public. Paid less than $100 since it's early in the season. Course was in great condition for March. A few hard bunkers, some tee boxes were little chewed up, but overall great conditions. Played in under 4 hrs 30 mins. Definitely recommend for under $100.

Unbelievably great course!! I love to play here! As soon as I arrived the starter was friendly and gave me all the information to play that day.. For being in the beginning of the season the course was in exceptional condition!!!

Chilly New Years day round... not too crowded but ranger was allowing too many SLOW twosomes to play behind each other... c'mon man!!! Fix that by forcing them to play together or get out of the way... otherwise its pretty good lay out and worth $50 w a cart...

My first time playing NYCC which was great fun. Pretty layout with lots of character holes. Great balance of different looking holes. Greens were fast but not rolling smoothly like in prime season but very playable. Highly recommend. Staff was very friendly. Pace was good despite full tee sheet.

Driving Range is closed. but chipping & putting area is open. Rain over night but conditions still good. Greens are challenging even though after rain & unpressed. Club House & Locker Room is updated. Can wait to come back

We only played 11 holes and left. Pace of play was the slowest I ever experienced. And it was not busy. There was no ranger around to tell the extremely slow groups ahead of us to step up their pace of play. Just ruined the day. Our cart indicated that we were 45 minutes behind where we should be.

Greens were very dry and fast . Very difficult to gauge the speed. Each green was different speed .

Bunked were in very poor condition. Patriot hills is much much better deal and course in thus area.
