Drive there if you have the time.
Fun little municipal course. If you have the time and don't mind driving out of the city, I would recommend it and then finding the restaurant Cafe 33 right in front of the course to eat lunch.
Fantastic Value
The course is relatively easy, condition is good for a muni course in a podunk town of a few hundred folks. But the value is always great! Only an hour drive from Tulsa, we find a deal on GolfNow for under $20, similr courses would be $45 or more. Fun to play, smaller greens, so a good place to work on stopping your approach shots.
Water
Greens had just been aerated lumpy bumpy sandy,no ball washers, and the greens were so overwatered all the grass around them was dying.
Lots of variation
New to golf, but have played a couple courses on my journey. This course offered a lot of variety as far as hole layout. Some dog lefts, dog rights, water, straightaways, etc. Challenging but fun, especially for a new player.
Hidden Gem
An absolute blast to play. Big improvements over the past few seasons. The guys in the proshop are awesome. The best greens in the area, year-round. And I play the area courses frequently.
Previous tee and fairway turf issues (or injuries) are evidently being addressed because the improvement from late spring to early fall was stunning. The staff is putting in the work and it's starting to show. They're a bit more particular these days about where you can drive your cart, but the improvement in turf quality has definitely been worth it.
The tee sheet can get a bit crowded, especially on weekends. It can be difficult to get on at the last minute sometimes.
Will definitely continue to be a go-to course for me and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone.
Poor staff.
I love the course, been playing there for years but when it comes to the staff, it doesn’t get any worse. These people have 0 knowledge of anything.
Peaceful
Great time playing at CT. Staff was great and the course was in good condition for December. One of the more inviting experiences I’ve had on a golf course.
Much improved
The staff has been working hard on this course. Grass overall is in much better shape. Rough is USOpen length but hey it was a tough summer and you shouldn’t hit it there anyway. Greens are at a point where if you get it on line it will go. Really glad to see it coming around as I like playing here. Keep up the good work guys and gals.
good golf course
Played here with my son on a Monday afternoon. Course was not too crowded but fairly busy. The pace of play was good. Enjoyed the course and would definitely go back.
Greens and fairways where nice
This was a pretty nice kept course the greens and fairways where green. The rough was short but thick you got to hit it hard out of it. Even though it's a sandy area the grass kept it firm for the most part. Looked like most people repaire their pitch marks on the greens so if you play here be respectful and do so yourself too. Highly recommend course to try out.
