About
Perfect Central Oregon rolling terrain fashioned into beautiful golf holes by designer Brian Whitcomb. With 7000 yards of breathtaking views and challenging golf shots Lost Tracks Golf Club defines the word golf.
While Lost Tracks Golf Club is located near the city of Bend, it has the feeling of quiet seclusion. The golf course is bordered by national forest land and carved out of a stand of Ponderosa and high desert pine trees with lava rock outcroppings, dotted with sparkling lakes, and seaside sand filled bunkers. Laid out on a softly rolling terrain the old style design, without the long walks between greens and tees, invite the golfer to walk the meticulously groomed and maintained fairways.
Lost Tracks design philosophy did not include a "signature hole" consideration. Many players may consider the 141-yard 16th hole a par 3 island green, with an old railroad dining car for a bridge, to be exactly that. However, with so many gorgeous holes to choose from, we will leave that up to you. Have fun!

Facility Maintenance
I’ve played this course 10 years ago I was in the area and decided to play the course again. The personnel and facility has deteriorated significantly. I had a 1:12 teetime I arrived 45 minutes before to warm-up and hit some balls I was told they ran out of range balls. I said okay give me keys to my golf cart I was told they had no carts available and they will call me when one is available. An hour after my scheduled teetime they still had no carts available. I decided to walk the course they refunded my cart fee but charged for a pulled cart. A friendly club centered on customer service will provide this as a courtesy for my inconvenience. They did not because of this I will never play this course again and advise others to do the same. BTW, it was a 5 hour round with no marshals.
Not quite up to par
I love to play the course over the last 10 years. This is the first time i have seen to many dandelions and the green were really slow and many of the greens had fungal damage that interfered with the putting.
pace
pace of play was good for our 2some until we caught a 5some of men who we waited for on the 13th hole. When we finished 13, we caught them just finishing teeing off on 14; however they paid no attention to us and just walked away. After standing about 5 minutes for them to recognize that we were waiting on the tee, I gave up waiting and drove past them and on to the 15th hole. They never acknowledged us as we went by. I told the pro shop and hope that they said something to the men when they finished.
It's was my first time playing on this course. It's was a fun course play. My friends and I had a good time.

Fantastic day at Lost Tracks
Clubhouse employees were very nice, got us checked in quickly - made sure we were good to go.
Course was in great shape, from tee to green and everything in between. Greens rolled terrific, course is very fun and can be played in a variety of ways - and skill levels. Can’t wait to play again!
Finally, it was great to find out that the owner was involved with Folds Of Honor - and proudly has a display in the pro shop. As a member of the USAF, along with a supporter of FoH - gives even more reason to appreciate this course and their staff.
5/5, 10/10, 100/100 - recommend to anyone and great job to all involved!

Pine needles and ball marks all over green. Maybe a mid day blowing is recommended

Paired with three others and spent a very enjoyable day wandering the fairways.

Course conditions
This used to be a beautiful and challenging course. The grounds have been allowed to suffer. Some areas are having dandelions take over. Greens are small but still accessible. Overall I can see how far it has fallen from the times I used to play it. It's not a $90 course anymore.
