Lost Tracks Golf Club
About
Perfect Central Oregon rolling terrain fashioned into beautiful golf holes by designer Brian Whitcomb. With 7000 yards of breathtaking views and challenging golf shots Lost Tracks Golf Club defines the word golf.
While Lost Tracks Golf Club is located near the city of Bend, it has the feeling of quiet seclusion. The golf course is bordered by national forest land and carved out of a stand of Ponderosa and high desert pine trees with lava rock outcroppings, dotted with sparkling lakes, and seaside sand filled bunkers. Laid out on a softly rolling terrain the old style design, without the long walks between greens and tees, invite the golfer to walk the meticulously groomed and maintained fairways.
Lost Tracks design philosophy did not include a "signature hole" consideration. Many players may consider the 141-yard 16th hole a par 3 island green, with an old railroad dining car for a bridge, to be exactly that. However, with so many gorgeous holes to choose from, we will leave that up to you. Have fun!

Hole 11 @ Lost Tracks Photo submitted by odysseycustom on 05/27/2014
Slow boat again
They are really packing in the people. This is the 4th time in the last 2 month that it was waite waite waite on every hole. The grounds are showing signs of budget cuts.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review. We would love to know how we can earn those last two stars next time! Thanks for playing Lost Tracks Golf Club.
Found lost tracks
Course was in fine condition, staff receptive, great value.bring gps as course distance markers limited to cart paths.
Lost tracks, Bend
Course was in great shape. Greens pretty smooth, sand raked, fairways smooth. Definitely good value. Plus pro shop well equipped.
Lost Tracks
We walked the course on a cold and snowy May day. Course was in pretty nice condition for early in the season.
Early Summer
Course entrance was great, clubhouse was cool, and close to town. Range was 10 spots on grass with a small bucket being cheap ($5) but only coming with about 15 balls-most of which were reclaimed water balls from an empty pond of mud on 8 (I think 8).
Holes setups were ok, course was in ok shape-bunkers were all different consistency with 12” string grass around the rims. Fairways were ok and greens in solid shape. Golf carts were great with gps devices. They showed yardage with front middle and back of green, yardage to first hazard - which was not obvious till 8th hole - and overall hole layout. Problem was screen was 2” tall and about 3” wide and not interactive. For the money that is what you are going to get in Bend area and was not disappointed even if review may seem negative. Just trying to be honest.
Use method to cut down grass around bunkers that mowers miss. Take the bunkers regularly. Replace water in empty ponds. Was a pleasurable course and will play again. I just try and be honest. Carts, greens, and majority of course was in solid shape.

Great course. Very Scenic
Love this course. Play it every year when in the area. My biggest complaint is the loud, stinky gas powered carts! My home course has beautiful new electric carts and this was such a bummer.
Fun course close to town, good conditions on most fairways and greens. Only thing I didn’t like was the lack of yardage markers throughout the course. Even tee boxes don’t have ground markers. Struggled to get yardages on most fairway shots- had to use phone GPS.
Good value for the money though. Will play again.
nice local course
For early in the season, the course was in pretty good shape. It is a public course, so is not the same as playing at a resort course, but it is definitely worth the cost. There are some fun holes.
A great value and a fun course
We have played Lost Tracks many times over the past several years. It is a family-run facility that treats golfers of all abilities like guests. It is a great value and presents the golfer with many challenges as well as spectacular views of Mt. Bachelor. My only suggestion is that they need a marshal on peak days as sometimes the pace of play can slow down.
