Lost Tracks Golf Club
About
Perfect Central Oregon rolling terrain fashioned into beautiful golf holes by designer Brian Whitcomb. With 7000 yards of breathtaking views and challenging golf shots Lost Tracks Golf Club defines the word golf.
While Lost Tracks Golf Club is located near the city of Bend, it has the feeling of quiet seclusion. The golf course is bordered by national forest land and carved out of a stand of Ponderosa and high desert pine trees with lava rock outcroppings, dotted with sparkling lakes, and seaside sand filled bunkers. Laid out on a softly rolling terrain the old style design, without the long walks between greens and tees, invite the golfer to walk the meticulously groomed and maintained fairways.
Lost Tracks design philosophy did not include a "signature hole" consideration. Many players may consider the 141-yard 16th hole a par 3 island green, with an old railroad dining car for a bridge, to be exactly that. However, with so many gorgeous holes to choose from, we will leave that up to you. Have fun!

Golfer Reviews
Great course !
Loved the course and felt it was challenging but fair. Greens were in great condition and the island green with the passenger train as a bridge was super cool. Frost delay was a bit of a pain and had to wait an hour but that was no fault to the course. Actually the first group out let me go ahead and finished in under 2 hours with a cart playing solo.
Fun layout, decent conditions for early season golf
Kind of a fun layout. Lots of interesting doglegs and a surprising amount of uphill/downhill approach shots. Staff was super friendly and we played the round walking in 3:38 teeing off in the middle of the day. Can’t beat that.
Bend Area Favorite
Lost Track is my favorite course to play while in Bend. Course plays challenging; but, fair. And, is always fun to play. Friendly staff is there to greet you!
Very nice course
For a great round on one of Bend’s best public courses, thisviscit!
Great Course
The day we played was colder than a mother in law's smile. We only played 9 holes, with the wind chill, it was 24 degrees as we left. I love the course and have played it annually for the last few years. Always invite our friends to join us and they really like it. I recommend this course to anyone that likes golf.
Worth the visit
Another enjoyable round at Lost Tracks. Was cold for the start of the round and quite windy for most of the day.
Course was in good shape, although a recent aeration made the greens a bit unpredictable - but it has to be done, can’t fault the staff.
Tee boxes were quite tricky to find a level spot most of the time (tournament tees), could probably die with making them a bit more level.
5/5, 10/10, 100/100, enjoyed it.
Under-rated
Lost Tracks has always been my favorite Bend course!!! Nothing against the other courses, but the layout and design of the course always keeps my interest.
This is my first time playing Lost Tracks since COVID. Almost all courses at least tried to follow covid guidelines. Not Lost Tracks: balls fell all the way to the bottom of the cup, rakes in traps, ball washers. Players would grab the flag stick. Not sure what went wrong?

Almost got hit by a ball from people behind us because we were waiting on maintenance crew. Next whole we stood there for 5 minutes waiting to hit on the green due to maintenance crew then they made is skip the next hole. Usually love this course but this was a horrible experience and a horrible way to end the golf season.

Well maintained and clean
Lost Tracks is a GEM of a course for Bend, Oregon. Fees are high for the carts ($40 for 2 persons), which is a negative. Green fees of $80 is also high, but good deals were found on GOLF NOW.NET. One of the best courses anywhere.
We appreciate the review. You rated us 3-stars which means there is room to improve on your recent experience at Lost Tracks Golf Club. Let us know, in the comments, how and where you would like to see changes from the course. Thanks for the feedback!
