Rating 71.8

Perfect Central Oregon rolling terrain fashioned into beautiful golf holes by designer Brian Whitcomb. With 7000 yards of breathtaking views and challenging golf shots Lost Tracks Golf Club defines the word golf.

While Lost Tracks Golf Club is located near the city of Bend, it has the feeling of quiet seclusion. The golf course is bordered by national forest land and carved out of a stand of Ponderosa and high desert pine trees with lava rock outcroppings, dotted with sparkling lakes, and seaside sand filled bunkers. Laid out on a softly rolling terrain the old style design, without the long walks between greens and tees, invite the golfer to walk the meticulously groomed and maintained fairways.

Lost Tracks design philosophy did not include a "signature hole" consideration. Many players may consider the 141-yard 16th hole a par 3 island green, with an old railroad dining car for a bridge, to be exactly that. However, with so many gorgeous holes to choose from, we will leave that up to you. Have fun!

Lost Tracks review

Excellent layout, a must play when in the area. Course was a little soft considering the weather conditions. Some of the greens were not in the best shape. Overall still a great day.

Great course

First time playing the course, its in great condition. The first few holes are short, with doglegs so hitting anything more then 200-220 is out of the question. Overall Great course, check golf now for best deal.

Always enjoy the course.

Course was wide open which makes me think that they are a bit over priced. With cart, the cost was $67 and that was the Hot deal.

We loved this easy to play golf course - pretty scenery - not many water hazards - greens were excellent - just a fun course to play.

Pace of play was terrible

This course needs a marshal. We actually had a group of six in front of us. Not only that but the group of six actually had to wait at times. So the groups in front of them were even slower. This course is very overpriced for the quality of shape it is in.

Not COVID friendly

Located close to downtown Bend Lost Tracks presents significant bang for the buck. However

-the first time player will have a hard time navigating. Several blind shots, tricky layups and hidden trouble.

-most importantly NOT COVID friendly. Takes left in bunkers (I used a towel when using), no ball pickup or foam in flagstick/holes.

Pace of play was good on front under 1 1/2 hours, slowed down on back due to a couple back to back slow groups.

No Marshall, no beverage cart.

The restaurant looked nice though I didn’t eat there.

17th hole with island green was fun.

Greens in pretty good condition.

I would play here again if they would address the COVID issues.

Beautiful Scenery - Great Layout

The course has a lot of dog legs both directions, so if you can hit a draw and a fade this is your course. If you are one or the other you have to play to the course so you have a second shot. Greens were in great shape, challenging but fair. This course is beautiful and worth a round while in Bend.

Nice course south of Bend.

We have played Lost Tracks a number of times. The condition now is good; it is well maintained. There are several interesting holes, particularly the Par 3, 16th hole which is very scenic. It is not a resort course, but a good value for a public course.

Lost Tracks Review

First time ever playing here. Really love the shape this course was in and everything about the club facility. Such a dreamy course. Middle of July and conditions were mint.

This course has some very nice elevation changes. The golf carts were spectacular. They were washed nice, shiny, and cleaned bc of the "big C".

The only downside was pace of play, but it was a super busy day there and we played the front in 2.5 hr and just under 2.5 on back.

The greens were all in fantastic shape. They were multiple greens with multiple tiers. Rough reads, lots of breaks.

Overall this course played extremely well. Many many many dog legs and somewhat blind shots. The cart ladies are super nice and did seem them 3 times in the round.
