Sah-Hah-Lee Golf Course
About
Opened to the public in June of 1991, Sah-Hah-Lee Golf Course is located only 30 minutes southeast of downtown Portland in Clackamas. Nestled in a small valley along the scenic Clackamas River, Sah-Hah-Lee features a stunning, year-around, 18-hole, executive par-3 golf course that will test the skills of experienced players as well as those just learning the game. Before or after your round, try the lighted and covered driving range, and full-service pro shop located in the renovated farmhouse of the Haberlach family who owned and farmed much of the land in the area. The farmhouse sits on a ridge that overlooks the golf course. Name-brand equipment and custom-built golf clubs are available as well as repairs, clothing and accessories.

Over watered and uncut
This course can be quite challenging even though it is only a par 3 course. All holes are over 100 yards and the longest is 180. I'm giving this a rating of 4 stars because at our tee time of 8:10AM the greens nor the tee boxes had been cut. The greens didn't need to be cut, however, they were covered in dew from the early morning watering. There was standing water and muddy areas, something that shouldn't be present when there hasn't been any measurable rain for nearly 3 months. The course superindendent should know how to better care for this course.
Great par 3 course
Great little par 3. Well maintained and always fun to play.
Pretty course!
A particularly beautiful course with the front nine much shorter than the back. Greens a little fast but very fair. I did use my 5 iron on 16 and 18 but excluding them, all you need are a few wedges and maybe a 8 iron, plus your putter. But overall a really nice walk in the forest. I'll definitively play again when in town.
Fun and challenging
First time here, staff awesome and helpful. Great layout w/ variety of long and short holes. Greens are relatively small and difficult to hold tee shots due to crowned greens. Lots of shots that attacked front/back or side pin locations rolled off if not in center of green. Great course!!
sah ha lee
great place to play, maybe only negative was 6.00 for a pull cart. per person.
Finally hit 80 degrees, time to play!
Played around 11:30am, course was not busy. Never waited on a shot or had anyone behind us. Course was is excellent shape, greens immaculate, tee boxes in good shape. Fairways still a little soggy in spots, to be expected this time of year. Cant beat the senior rate of 9 holes for $9 on weekdays!
Amazing shape!
Super friendly staff, cool hole layout and the condition of the course, especially after this winter, was absolutely fantastic!!
Nice par 3 course
Good par 3 course for a quick round. We played 18 in 2.5 hours on a Sunday afternoon. Nice layout with trees and some views of the river. Greens are mostly flat. Pro shop is very friendly and helpful. Range has multiple targets. I would recommend this course to all levels of golfers.
Early season play
Extreme wind storm the day before yet grounds crew had greens clean and playable. After two of the wettest months on record, fairways were better than expected. Had the course to ourselves.
great experience
We had a very enjoyable 18 holes. Course is well kept with enough trees to cover you in the heat without having to shoot over or around them all the time. Would recommend this course to others and will go back myself.
Great place to Play
I started playing here over 10 years ago when my at the time 82 year old grandfather could no longer walk Eastmoreland & he was to stubbon to take a cart. So we started playing here so he could walk. The staff is warm & friendly & the course is always in great shape. Great place for all levels of golfers. Very easy course to walk. Highly recommend it to anyone.
Most fun you can have on a golf course
We've come here more times than any course we play in Oregon or AZ. We have no need for the longball, and there are enough wrinkles here to always challenge our short game. The rhodedendrons are spectacular in the Spring, the owners and staff always ready for whatever comes their way...we love 'em! They go to great lengths to offer many programs..our favorite Friday Night Couples. But, look for yourself on their website.. I'd never hesitate to recommend Sah Hah Lee!!
Fun Round
Great service. Great pace of play. Course condition was a little rough because of the heat we've had this summer, but I expected this going into the round. Overall, my wife and I had a lot of fun. Thanks.
Good iron course
It's a par 3 course but there are some holes that a person needs to use a rescue or long irons
Well kept course
They keep the course very well kept and the range balls are relatively inexpensive. The staff is a little moody and if you don't book a round on a hot deal it's over priced.
Always a pleasure
Been playing here for years, always well maintained with courteous staff. Excellent short game course.
Good course!
I like this course because it lets me practice my short clubs. Pitching wedge and a putter is all you need until the 18th hole. You may need a 7 iron.
Great golf cource
This is a fun little course. Great for all level of golfers. Course is in fantastic shape. Very easy course to walk. Played 18 holes in under 3 hours. Highly recommend it.
Eagle Crest Stay & Play Package
Eagle Crest Stay & Play Package
Thanks for your comments and the positive review. Concerning the uncut and over watered issues, please note that virtually all golf courses do not mow greens on Monday's to give them a rest, as for the damp spots, yes it hasn't rained in months and has been one of the hottest summers in recent years. Therefore, we must irrigate to keep the course green. Irrigation is not an exact science and we sometimes have wet spots as a result. Anyhow, we hope you still continue to visit Sah-Hah-Lee, we enjoy having you here.
