Meadow Lakes Golf Course

Tee boxes need some TLC. Being the staff is so conscientious I’m sure it’s on the menu. Other than that I love this course, the friendliness and the vibe.

Really pretty and fun course to play! Great bang for your buck.

Today I played my first round of the year. After 7 or 8 holes I notice someone lurking behind me off to the side of the fairway’s kind of behind the trees. At first, I thought it was the marshal. Still lurking behind me, on 11 I asked the guy if he wanted to join me or play through. He played through. Two holes later I was on the tee and turned around and this guy was behind me again. Couple holes later, on the adjacent fairways this creepy guy was standing on the tee across from me just watching me. The chill of someone stalking hit me. I finally called the pro shop. It's a golf course, play golf. If not, go get some help for God sake.

Alway so fun to play and the course is always in good condition especially for this time of year (early winter).

Tee boxes, fairways, and greens in excellent condition. Fun layout. NO DRINKING WATER PROVIDED ON COURSE. Plan ahead for your hydration needs. Exacerbated by NO BEVERAGE CART ON COURSE. Pro shop staff is friendly. Restaurant staff, not so friendly. Great price, great layout, superb course conditions. I come here for the golf, not the restaurant.

Made reservation through golf now. Reservation was confirmed via e-mail. Arrived at course 1 hour before Tee time, but was told they didn’t have my reservation. I showed them my confirmation email., but they didn’t even want to look at it, claiming my contract was with GolfNow. They said the issue was between me and GN. Called GN, they said it was a glitch on there end, and they would refund me for their error. I explained I had driven 270 miles to play this course; their response was they would refund me the green fee.

At this point my options were to go home or pay the courses full amount. I decided to suck it up and pay the regular green fee.

I had just signed up for Golf Pass +, but after this experience I will cancel and no longer use GN.

The course had 5 sets of tees making it good for any level player, as well as combo tees so there were 7 different yardage totals you could play. The greens were fast and hard to read making it a good test of putting skills. My daughter and I enjoyed it as it fit our skill levels. I heard some people complained of the pace, but the course was busy, and we still played 18 holes in 3 hours and 45 minutes, so I had no issue with that. A few interesting holes that now that I have played it, I would play a few holes a little different when I play it again,

Decided to try out this course and had a good time. The greens and fairways were in great shape. The course is flat but still interesting. Luckily there were a fair amount of trees to find shade because it was a hot day.

Course was stacked up from the start, no marshals, we followed 2 father and son twosomes, why they didn’t play together we did not understand. Several holes we were waiting to hit our approach shots on the green and we had to wait for them to practice putting or hitting multiple shots from the tee. Thankfully they only played 9 so the back nine pace was better. My girlfriend tagged along and did not play but they charge her 20.00 to sit in my cart, first time I’ve ever been charge this fee anywhere. So yeah not a great experience.

Pace of slowed down after two holes. I saw no marshal out on course supervising pace or enforcing it. I was done at 16, didn’t want to be in the heat anylonger. 1:50 front nine, the back if I had finished would have been over 2 hours.
