Home of the 5 hour round
Course was stacked up from the start, no marshals, we followed 2 father and son twosomes, why they didn’t play together we did not understand. Several holes we were waiting to hit our approach shots on the green and we had to wait for them to practice putting or hitting multiple shots from the tee. Thankfully they only played 9 so the back nine pace was better. My girlfriend tagged along and did not play but they charge her 20.00 to sit in my cart, first time I’ve ever been charge this fee anywhere. So yeah not a great experience.
Hot day for Golf
Pace of slowed down after two holes. I saw no marshal out on course supervising pace or enforcing it. I was done at 16, didn’t want to be in the heat anylonger. 1:50 front nine, the back if I had finished would have been over 2 hours.
Nice, Friendly Course
The course is always in good shape & the value is the best in Central Oregon. I think it’s a little more difficult than it appears but still fair.
Best public greens
Meadow Lakes consistently has the best greens of any municipal course in the greater Bend area. It's a fun course with lots of hazards but not too punishing. The only bad thing I can say is it's very flat, makes it walkable, but with no elevation it's not the most interesting layout, however the exceptional conditions and fair price make up for a flat, somewhat boring layout.
Nice course and in great shape
We played with two locals that helped to know where to hit and how the greens reacted. Pace of play was very good. Could use more restrooms on the course.
Best Bend value
Course was in great shape. Teed off at 0922 and played in 3 3/4 hours. Greens fast but fair, fairways in good shape. Beautiful views, but don’t let that distract because water is on many holes. Eat at the restaurant when done, food is yum.
