Wonderful outing.
My wife and I had a wonderful day. Weather was perfect, course was in excellent shape and there wasn't anyone pushing from behind.
Lots of Water in play, a very nice track
Our first game of our vacation was at Meadow Lakes. This was a very nice course, good range of tees so my wife could easily play this course. It requires you to stay on the fairway as almost all the holes have some water potential. The carts were almost brand new, the pace of play was pretty good, had some waits due to untalented golfers in front. We were about 45 minutes ahead of the greens behind us being punched. The greens were nice, fast and held well. I would come back to play this one again, good GolfNow value, considering most of the courses in the area were a bit more costly. It could be walked easily so a cart isn't necessary.
Great Value
I was going to play one of the Eagle Crest courses but found this course on Golfnow and for the value the 25 minute drive was worth it. Good fairways, fair rough, plenty of water and the best greens I have played in a very long time! We usually return to the Bend/Redmond area every 2-3 years and you can bet I will play this one again!
Nice course, Great value
Meadow Lakes is a very well maintained golf course with a lot of water in play. It plays at 6783 from the tips but has 6 sets of tees so it can be enjoyed by golfers of any skill level. The greens were as close to perfect as any I have played in a long time. The fairways were consistent and well conditioned. The rough was lush and dense but fair. My only complaint was the gravel in the bunkers. This course is well worth the regular price and a super deal at the GolfNow price. We played with local golfer and he said the the course does not get a lot of play and the pace of play is usually very good.
A high desert gem!
Before you play, take a ride to the top of the butte that overlooks the course: this will whet your appetite for a wonderful round at Meadow Lakes. I have played on hundreds of wonderful courses all over the country and, for the money, this was a real beauty. The greens were outstanding, fast and true. The rest of the course was in excellent condition.Even the sand in the bunkers was above the norm! It may not be the most challenging, but it is a great place to take your spouse and the kids for a day of golf.
Great Value Course
This is a very well maintained course. The tee boxes were pretty flat, the fairways in great shape, good sand in the bunkers, and the greens rolled nicely. This isn't a resort course and there were no spectacular holes but it was a nice layout a quite fair. The staff was friendly and the practice facilities were good. Great value and will be playing this course again soon.
Good value
I always play Medow Lakes when I am in the Bend Area. Good, fair layout. No houses. Always looks good, tee to green.
Friendliest staff ever
Second time playing here and got the same help.....amazingly friendly. I work in customer service and these people have it down. Genuine! I can't tell you how much I appreciate that.
Great value for area
Played 9 holes due to heat that day. Was extremly happy with the experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Gave us the 9 hole rate even though they said we could play more. Best value for the Bend Oregon area, only 30 min drive.
hidden gem
frankly I don't want more people to find out. This is a hidden gem in the shadow of pricier Bend courses
well worth the drive
The course was in the best that I've seen it in a long while . The greens, fairways and overall course condition was great .
Greens in great shape!
I love this course year round. It has pretty rimrock views and various wildlife that call the course home. Has some trees to provide shade in the hot summer months. It has water features and well maintained bunkers. It has a good variety of distance from the various tee boxes. Has well maintained bathrooms on each nine, each hole has ball washers and cart paths clearly marked. The fairways and greens are kept in excellent condition. The staff always friendly in greeting me. With the courtesy of other players was able to play in under 3 hours riding by myself.
A great course and price
For the price to play at meadow lakes you would think it would be an old run down course but it not at all. Great tee boxs and fairways and the greens are fast and that's how they should be. A+++
Good day
Lori always does a great job of taking care of the patrons..course was in great shape..it's always interesting to see different birds in prineville compared to bend..had a great time and finished with great service at the 19th hole..I always have fun at meadow lakes..
This is a great course, great value
Course is in excellent shape especially the greens, smelly water of the past is being eliminated
The course was good value for the money.
The course was flat, easily walk-able although there was a lot of water hazards they only came into play because of poor shots.
relatively fast greens
Nice, not too difficult from blue tees. Fairly fast but fair greens. Flat course that you can walk if desired. Nice staff, would definitely go again.
Good Challenge, Excellent Value!
My buddies and I play here often. We're always pleased with the condition of the golf course. There are a LOT of ponds and water hazards which adds to the challenge. The greens run true and are usually speedy. The cost is typically lower than competing courses in Central Oregon which is another reason we keep coming back. Always enjoyable to play!
Excellent value for a good, well-conditioned course
Played with a twosome of great guys in 3-1/2 hours walking in great weather. Course is in best condition I remember, though only play here infrequently, especially the greens. A fine day in sunny Prineville.
Great value!
Very well maintained municipal course. Always an enjoyable round.
