Nice Course With Lots Of Lakes!
This course has a challenging, yet fun layout with lakes everywhere and lots of bunkers. The course was in great shape for being the end of the season and the greens where well manicured and quick. There are also a lot of trees making this course quite a challenge for all types of players. The staff was very nice and friendly. the course is located in a valley so you can see the course as you come down the mountain in to town. It's a very cool view. The restaurant had good food and once again, very friendly staff. I played this course several times when it was new and had forgotten how much fun it was. The trees have matured making the course more difficult but adding to the beauty of the layout. This is a not to miss track when in Central Oregon.
A good track
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed th course. Played in 3 1/2 hours. Has some challenging holes but is a fair course. We will definitely keep it our our list of courses to play. The roast beef and meatball sandwiches were very good.
Great golf experience
Really enjoyed the whole experience of Meadow Lakes Golf Course. This course is very well kept and up to date with nice amenities through out. We enjoyed our day there.
Challenging and Well Maintained
This course is one of my favorites. Great value for a course of this type. It rewards players that keep the ball in play. Many water hazards, tall trees and well placed bunkers. The 9th and 18th holes cross over the Ochoco river, requiring most golfers to hit 150 yard approach shots over to the green. Friendly golf staff and about average time to complete our round. Look forward to returning again soon!
Hidden Gem
Very well maintained course, friendly staff and great scenery! It's nice to find a course in Central Oregon that is both affordable and well maintained!
Great Course
Meadow Lakes is always in good condition. I have played it in all seasons and always look forward to a round here. Course is open with few trees, allowing one to have many option.
Really fun golf
Very friendly golf course for everyone. Just be sure you hit it straight. LOTS of water! The distance from different tees is perfect for advanced players to seniors. I always finish my round wanting to play more.
Meadow Lakes review
Carts were new with score cards and pencils on them.
Greens and fairways were in great condition. The traps did include small stones, but it wasn't too much of a distraction.
Over all it was an enjoyable round! I'll play it again.
Nice track plenty of water
We played this course on the recommendation of a staff person at the resort we were staying at nearby. It was a pleasant surprise and was very playable if you hit it in the fairways. The afternoon wind kicked up a bit and presented some challenges as this was the first time we played the course and didn't know what kind of effect it would have on ball flight. My wife who usually shoots in high 90's to low 100's liked the course. She isn't very long but usually hits the ball in the fairway. I would definitely play this course again if we are ever in the area again.
Great Day in Prineville
This is a lovely municipal course. Be aware that this is the town's water treatment facility, which makes it all the more valuable (my opinion.) Great layout - have walked without problems, if not too hot. Lots of wildlife (deer have the right of way, birds galore) and very friendly staff.
Nine and eighteen play across water and you need to lay up or drive over 300, but makes it a challenge.
Enjoy the scenery and the great Central Oregon weather. Always friendly people when paired up with another twosome.
Thank you, Meadow Lakes.
Beautiful natural setting!
Look forward to golfing there again.
Lots of Water
This course is pretty darn flat. There is water on all but 3 holes. This is an easy course to walk whether you carry your bag or have a push cart. You must hit across the Crooked River on both the 9th and 18th holes. This course will try even the best on some days. I play this course about 10-15 times a year. One thing to know or remember, this course has reclaimed water.
Middle of Nowhere Golf
This course was found when we were in the area with work. What a nice course and a good Breakfast as well.
The course is in great shape and we look forward to playing it again, The staff were very nice and its Trucker friendly as you can get your semi in the parking lot. Also walk the course and don't ride its a nice walk with some nice sights.
Meadow Lakes gc
Meadow Lakes gc: is and continues to be one of the best golf courses in central Oregon for the $. Especially for the low prices you can get on golf now. The staff is always very friendly, helpful & accommodating. There are only a couple of draw backs to meadow lakes is the amount of play the coarse gets can @ times slow down play & depending on the bartender drinks can be pretty week. G hacker
Fire deal at meadow lakes
Can't beat playing a nice course like this for $17 with a cart, thanks GolfNow!
It was a little chilly but it was also late November.
The course was in great shape & we played in less than 4 hours as a foursome.
We all had a great time & can't wait to go back.
Great value
$15 for 18 holes with a cart can't be beat. The course was is excellent shape for mid November.
Well conditioned course
My wife and I played with a local member who was very helpful in understanding the course. There were two holes that required a layup rather than a full driver before one crossed the river. Fairways and greens were in excellent condition in spite of the recent dry conditions. There are numerous tees so one has a good choice of length to suit your level of play. Not a difficult course but one still has to execute the shots. Would recommend for a fun day.
