Superb Winter Golf
Zack and Lori make Meadow Lakes a treasure. From the time they make your reservations to the greeting at the door you feel as though your group is personally catered to. The course even in the 30 degree weather played well and offered a totally different experience than playing here in the summer months. The food is reasonable and the drink an equal value. Meadow Lakes sold us coupons for play at an incredible rate for year round play.
fun course nice greens
Overall a good experience enjoyed the course fun yet challenging well maintained good consistent greens
An enjoyable challenge for all player abilities
This course is a Central Oregon gem. Always in great condition, a fair challenge from all tee placements and faster and higher quality greens than normally found on such a reasonably priced course. Plenty of water in play to offer a great risk vs. reward on most holes.
Great staff and very helpful on the phone as well as in the pro shop.
Great course and when i am in the area this is my first choice to play in the Bend/Redmond/Prinville area.
fairways and greens in great shape
lots of water, bring balls, course in great shape and great staff. best weather in central oregon.
GREAT views and well maintain course.
GREAT views, well maintained course and an excellent restaurant with good food. Staff in Pro Shop and at restaurant were very friendly.
Well maintained course in a beautiful setting.
Friendly staff in a scenic setting along the Crooked River. A great value for the money.
Good fun course
Although we only made it thru 9 of the 18 due to weather the pace was good staff was friendly and even gave us a RAIN CHECK so we could finish our game another day.
Great course at a great value.
Pro shop staff was very friendly upon check in. Played the green tees which were very fair for our level of play. Water on every hole, but does not always come into play unless you really hit it sideways. Course was very well maintained and very walkable (we had pull carts). Nice club house with friendly cafe staff. Would play again when in the area. Short drive from Redmond where we were staying.
well worth the drive...
The first thing that caught my attention was how green and lush the grass was, in our high desert climate. You'll see signs about the the reclaimed water project that the course is built on, ... a brilliant community concept. $25 with a cart, a great deal after 4. In the heat, a cart on this course is a good idea. Its relatively flat in altitude, with a nice variety of well maintained twists, turns, and bumps. The water hazards are abundant and hungry... they'll eat any ball you send too close.
I played a little rushed due to my schedule and a league event at the course. My harried pace cost me a few balls in the water. A range finder and/or course details from an app or the website would have helped. From the tee, it would be nice to know where all the water is, and distances to cross the creek that runs thru 9 and 18. Sand traps are well placed for challenge. I managed to stay clear of all but one, which was clean and nice consistency.
The course has a decent restaurant and nice ammenities. The chipping course looks like one of the better ones in the area. The driving range and putting greens are in good shape. I found this course to offer challenges significantly different than most other bend/redmond courses and I look forward to getting to know it better.
Enjoyed all the water and how course was laid out.
It was a fun course to play, open with water coming into play on most holes
Really enjoyed this course!!
We found this course to be very enjoyable with wonderfully maintained greens and fairways as well as excellent service and friendly staff. We are here on vacation and have already played the course twice!!
Great Muni
I always enjoy Meadow Lakes and recommend it to all the golfers I know.
Fun, walkable course that has enough challenge for any level with ample chances to score.
This is a fun walkable course that has water on the majority of the holes so you must manage your game. The greens were in great shape and had very subtle breaks. There is a great mixture of holes and many different tees for different levels of golfers.
A wonderful value for this venue
Reminded me of my high school days with large, rolling greens, open fairways and trouble lurking for those like myself who spray the ball occasionally. The willow trees that dotted the landscape were a nice feature. Wish I didn't live so far away!
Super Clubhouse
One of the best clubhouses at any public course I have ever found. Great breakfast in resturant. Would go back in a heart beat.
The course was a lot of fun from the white tees, the blues will make it very different.
The course has a lot of water features that make it fun, And yes, a river runs through it. The course was easy to walk as the three 65 plus guys found out. Nice big greens and a lot of different looks as far as golf holes go. Play this course when you get in the area.
Best Greens
Meadow Lakes has the best greens I've seen in a long time: smooth, true, fast. The course is a fun layout. Has several risk/reward shots, mostly wide fairways.
Best course I have played for the price. I will be back with friends.
I was very impressed with the quality of the course condition. Two days ago I played Chambers Bay and this course was just as enjoyable. I will definitely recommend this course to all my friends and work associates. Of course the weather was perfect to add to the experience.
Best value in Central Oregon
This course is laid out very well and always in top condition as well as enjoys great drainage should the wet stuff show up. With a good mix of par 3,4's and 5's and just enough water to make you stay straight it is a fun one. A great value with senior rates Mon. thru Wed. and a good twilight fee. Great food as well just rounds out the perfect place to play
