Pocono Hills Golf Course

I can only describe the layout as goofy where standing on the tee on some holes you don't know exactly where to hit and if it is driver hole or not. Four holes on the back nine need to be blown up. Greens were too soft and inconsistent. On one hole a downhill putts stops short and on another it runs 12 feet by. It's a course you need to see and play at least once to figure out how to play it. That doesn't make it a good golf course, just learning to play it. Terrible course for resort guests unless they are repeat guests.

Not a real golf course. If you are looking for real golf don’t go here don’t drive out of your way. It’s part pitch and putt part par 3. Most of the holes are completely blind making this ridiculous course at times hard. As there are full trees basically hanging over the fairway. Sometimes you have only 10 feet wide of opening.

But then there are plenty of wide open 300 yard par 4. From the tips ! There is a 385 yard par 5.

People staying on the property actually drive thru the middle of the course to get to condos. Yes on the cart paths. I was actually stopped before I hit on the box and they asked me for directions!! No lie . Was the weirdest golf experience I’ve ever had. If you want a joke of a round for $25 go here

Course in great shape. Greens soft yet fast for putting. Tee boxes, fairways and rough well maintained. Played in 4 hrs without rushing. Definitely will be back.

I ended up behind a threesome that was incredibly slow and refused to let me play through. I ended up reading 300 pages on Kindle waiting for them on every shot.

I paid $37 for green fee plus $2.95 fee charged by Golf . If I had called the course for tee time, the rate would be $29 for seniors (no fee). So, in the future I will be calling the course for the tee time.

This is the best course in the area for the money. Cart and 18 holes. Today I had a 8:15am Tee time. I think I payed $25. I skipped the first hole (I was alone and there were 2 groups of 4 in front of me) and finished the next 17 in 2 hours. Didn’t see another soul. Not going to say it’s the most scenic but it’s a pretty course. LOTS of woods around so you will lose balls if you are a beginner like me. Bring more than a dozen.

Course is in good shape! Staff is friendly. The only thing i can suggest is that we had a foursome and in these times sometimes we could adapt better. I could ride with my friend in the same golf cart but our other 2 friends wanted To ride in separate carts. In other golf courses they do offer that but here they were charged another 15 dollars for the cart. Not a big deal but we were literally the last ones playing so the carts were available. Other than that course is good

Challenges , one or Two long par 5’s.

Was told there was a few groups of 2-3 ahead of me but pace was good. Well, the 6some that was moving en masse was kind enough to let me play through on hole 3. Then stuck behind a twosome that slow played and never once offered to let me play through. Fought my way through the front nine, only to get Logjammed on 10 by a foursome of kids hitting the ball ten feet in front of them and hitting multiple tee shots while the slow twosome and myself had to wait. Got so disgusted I went back to the clubhouse to say something only to be told he’d “talk to his manager about it”. Just up and left after 9. Don’t waste your time. New name, same crap course.

Very friendly staff. Interesting course in a rural setting. Very good value.

I went with my husband and son and really wasn't expecting much. However, the greens and the fairways were well maintained. Times were set about 15 minutes apart, but it wasn't bad. The courses were challenging, but not over the top. We had a great time.
