Nice fall round
The course is in great condition for this time of year, and the greens were really nice. Wish there was still a little more food to be had as the season closes down, but the one guy at the counter accommodated us pretty well.
Overall course was in good shape for fall golf. Tee boxes could be cut a little shorter. Much better shape than it was in before Covid.
Fall Shape
Overall course was in good shape for fall golfing. Greens were recently punched so some putts didn't roll true.
Play Here
This is a fun place to play, especially for average golfers. Only issue is players are really bad about replacing divots and fixing ball marks.
pleasant, leisurely round
Weather was cool, but nice when sun was out. Course not crowded which made the round nice and leisureable. Quite pleasandt.
Good inexpensive course
Has a lot of fun holes which are not hard, not a lot of places to lose your balls. Played after a lot of rain and it was really nice conditions.
Drive drive drive!
Cumberland Golf Club is a fun course! This is a great opportunity to practice with your driver. If you like long shots, this is the course for you. I used my driver and 3 wood here more than any course I’ve played so far. It’s good for beginners working on their tee offs and great for skilled players honing their accuracy. Will return for another round!
Great place to lower your scores
Though the pin placement was challenging, I had one of my better rounds on this course (again). I enjoy playing here.
Great value, nice course
Nice wide open course, in great condition, at the right price. Several hole designations are not clearly marked, making it difficult to know where the next hole is.
Great layout
I have played this course many times. It is one of my favorite layouts. I have belonged to 3 country clubs, played dozens of them and this course, yet condition wise may not be the same but is by far as hard as many I have played. To this day I have not found 2 harder finishing holes. Par 3's are very challenging, shorts one is 185 up hill! Like dog legs? You got them, and long par 5's, yup. 6500 from the whites, and it plays to every but of it. Take advantage of number 2, 3, and 16 other then that you better have a good iron game.
Greens need help
Good course layout but greens need help… players/members not fixing ball marks
Best It’s Ever Been
I keep wondering when the wheels are gonna fall off and this will be it’s burnt out summer self. It hasn’t happened and shows no signs that it will. I’m not sure if they got a new head grounds keeper or what but it’s turned into the best bang for your buck in the area. As someone that can’t hammer the ball I just wish the par 3s were a little shorter lol
