Never again
Booked online through the website. No indication on website about restrictions / modification to the course.
Paid and when walking out the door was told it was cart path only for all 18 holes.
A little heads up would be great when you have someone along who has difficulty walking distances.
Several greens were in horrible shape. Some had bare spots and ruts we had to putt through. One, #6, had so much geese droppings on it we couldn't even putt. Absolutely disgusting.
Multiple parts of the cart path had moderates sized tree limbs and trunks shattered across them. Coupled with unfriendly geese in a couple spots it was a real test.
Overall the fairways were in much better shape than the greens and also much dryer.
Amenities haven't been updated in decades.
Ridiculous round, that we will never spend money on, ever again.
Nice Blend of Difficult and Easy Holes
The course is in good shape. Although it is still early the course played well. Greens in good condition. Some fairways were spotty, traps were raked but some lacked soft sand. The layout of the course has a nice blend of easy and difficult holes. All legit. Folks are friendly and courteous. Green fees are very reasonable and play on a Wednesday was good.
Great track
Great layout, greens were well maintained, fairway was as hard as a parking lot.
Overall good experience, will be back!
Great bones, a hint of what once was.
It is clear the course has suffered from not enough upkeep and attention. I would not recommend to anyone who values their time on a course and expects adequate maintenance. I would not play there again for free. This course is ripe for new ownership and a revival. Until then, I do not recommend. Candidly I feel the 4 star rating let me astray, this is not on par with the other 4 Star courses on GolfNow.
