Gilbertsville Golf Club in New Hanover Township is tucked away among the rolling hills of Montgomery County. The 27-hole public course is divided into three nines, called the Red, White, and Blue. The Red and White were the club's original 18 holes when it first opened in 1967, and the Blue nine was added 30 years later. Being one of the older nines, the White Course has a more traditional layout with small, mostly flat greens and wide fairways lined with trees. It's not the most formidable round at Gilbertsville G.C. but it does have a few challenges in store. There are some tricky doglegs and while water may only come into play on two holes, one of these -- the par-5 second -- will leave a lasting impression with a carry over a lake and a meandering stream that edges the right side and then cuts in front of the green.

Made a few craters on the greens and happily used the repair tool. Unfortunately choked on my few birdie putts. Photo submitted by u000007953538 on 11/18/2013

Good service, Good Course
Good and friendly staff.. Provided excellent service.
Acceptable course
This course is 27 holes that are not overwhelming. Par 4’a typically are short with some exceptions..
some parts very good others need work
Had never played Gilbertsville before but decided to try it out. We played the red and then the blue 9s. Was pleased with the layout and quality of the holes. The tees, fairways and greens were good and better than expected. The sand traps are no longer sand traps and are full of weeds so you just pull your ball out with no penalty. If the course had enough funding, it could really be a top course. It is a very good value and if you don't mind a few of the lacking things it can be a pleasant round here
Beach is Closed!
Danger, beach conditions rocky! Good lord, its clear they’ve given up on the bunkers as they are a mix over overgrowth, rocks, and standing water. Yes, these are “hazards” but they are also typically known as “sand bunkers”. More sand, less bodily and club hazard would be cool.
Rest of the course is fine, carts are a little dated, but…meh. Not a bad tract but I’m hoping the maintenance is a temp situation and not indicative of an impending land sale to put up more McMansions out here.

Hi, MFLII! Thank you so much for leaving us with your feedback. We value our customer experience, so your review is important to us. Mixed Bag
The fairways and green’s were in good condition. The rough was high to the point where it was hard to find your ball. The bunkers were so bad it wasn’t even laughable. There were rocks, weeds, dirt, and other random things in the bunkers. Other than that I would say it was average

Hello. Thank you for leaving us a review. We are sorry to hear your experience was anything short of 5 stars, but we hope you will give us another try in the future. Thank you for choosing Gilbertsville Golf Club.
Rain really helped
Played here two weeks ago when it was rock hard dry! The recent rains really improved the course. Greens now receptive, rough thicker and unfortunately fairways softer eliminating the extra thirty yards of roll. Overall course(red to blue) was in best shape I have seen in years.

Fun round
Played with two guys in fifties. Got a kick out of them complaining that I should not be hitting from senior tees. Course in great shape and good pace.
Real nice course great fairways and greens only thing is they let the bunkers go they are unplayable and I've played here twice and both times cart broke down so they might wanna get a cart upgrade.
Great Local Course
I always love playing this course, the staff is always super friendly and the course itself if mostly well maintained. The only critique I have is that the bunkers haven’t had sand in them all season. Overall I’ll still be playing there as much as I can.
Fairway to green good
Fairways and greens are better than the price, everywhere else is not good. No bunkers left as they are filled with grass and weeds. The rough is inconsistent, but forgiving. If you need a confidence boost, head out you can miss anywhere I’ve never had my A game here and always break 80.

Thank you so much for leaving us with your feedback. We value our customer experience, so your review is important to us. We will make note and we hope to see you back at White at Gilbertsville Golf Club!
Father / Daughter outing
This golf course never disappoints. Went there with my daughter who hadn’t played golf in about five years and was very rusty. Play the red and blue courses, the red course, being the older and flatter of the two nines had a very traditional minimalist layout, which helped my daughter shake the rust off. The blue course had more elevation changes undulating greens. The greens were in perfect condition and overall the course was in great shape. I guess the only complaint would be that there was absolutely no water on the course and at the turn when we asked for a water fountain to fill up our containers was told I could buy water. On the other hand the lady behind the bar/counter was very sweet and offered to fill up our containers with ice. it was certainly worth the 3 detours we had to take as most of the roads leading into the golf course were under construction.
