Presidential at Hickory Valley Golf Club

THERE ARE 2 COURSES THERE, AND BOTH HAVE BEEN MAINTAINED VERY WELL. WE WILL GO BACK AGAIN.

I have played Hickory Ambassador numerous times. The last time I played was in the summer and the gnats were everywhere. My buddy had them sticking on his neck and in his face. The rainy summer took its toll on the course. However, like usual, Hickory Valley has a wonderful staff and a great greens keeper. The greens were slick and fast. I shot a 50 on the front nine. The back nine was different. I made the adjustments, no more 3 putts and shot a 37 on the back. The greens were running so true, I started making all my putts. I really love playing this course and they got the course back and in terrific shape. Also, not many leaves on greens or fairways. Thanks for an enjoyable round. I will be back. Signed, Lefty.

You wouldn't think you could play golf in November, but you can. and you can play at hickory valley, the course was well maintained, didn't have to look for the golf ball in the leaves, they had the course cleaned up of leaves, the greens were really nice and the fairways were cut and the whole course was in great shape, the staff , they were great to, I played the ambassador course it suits my game, if you really good you can play the presidential course, either way play hickory valley

Course in good shape! Greens challenging, need good placement off tee to avoid trees.

We played on a Saturday morning at 8 am for $35 with a cart. The maintenance crew took the the time to blow the fall leaves off of the tees, fairways, and greens. The greens were quick but in great shape. As the first group out on a November morning, we finished quickly and I was home in less than 4 hours. I was really impressed with the conditions of the course especially for November.

Nice course with challenging greens. Amenities are average. Landscape average . Bargain at Golf Now rate.

Played the Ambassador side well maintained, greens very tricky if above the hole. The rough high in spots. An arrant shot you have hard time finding your ball. Nice pro shop. Played a Sunday afternoon moved very well most of the time.

this course has a few challenging holes but overall fun course to play. I would recommend it to others.

Our foursome played after the fairways were aerated for nine of the holes. It was cart path only for those holes, however, the pro shop discounted the green fees by 26%. Cart path only was the only reason for the slow play.

We were scheduled for to play the Presidential Course, but due to aeration of the greens got shifted over to the Ambassador course. The course was a little tight on the front nine, but opened up on the back. Great course, great conditions, great greens! You really need to play these two courses!

Tee boxes and greens were in excellent shape. Pace of play was an issue on the back nine, could have used a ranger to speed things up.

It is very nice course to play but Fairways of 16 & 17 were on the repair and watering while we were playing those holes . I think it is wrong and inconsiderate to make golfers to play through those watering fairways.

Extremely slow play. Never play on a Sunday afternoon! Should have known better but the "hot deal" on Golfnow was hard to pass up.....

The Ambassador Course at Hickory Valley is a classic parkland course with a combination of narrow, tree lined fairways and strategically placed water and sand throughout. Though relatively short, the course has a number of challenging par 3s and mid-range par 4s. The par 5 ninth is a classic that plays almost six hundred yards from the tips. The tee shot goes from an open field into a narrow chuted fairway. Your second shot is tight and long to allow you to reach the green in three with a mid-iron. The third shot has to cross both a meandering stream and a pond that guards the green. A par on this hole will make your day. This is a fun course, well worth the time and price.

The course is very fair, rewards good shots and has a good mix(long, short, doglegs, blind shots,etc.) of challenging holes, good value for your $$

Always challenging. The rains this summer have caused some issues with the fairways but this is still one of the best values in the area. Cart path only is annoying as it is most likely not necessary to do for EVERY hole. Still, a fun and challenging course with value that is hard to beat.

Some of the holes are a little quirky, but once you figure out distances its a fun course. The fairways are a little thin probably due to the heat. Greens putted well

course is great....lots of trees for shade and a challenge!

The course was in good condition, offered a lot of variety in the holes, and was overall a pleasure to play. I am by no means an experienced golfer, but this course is nicely laid out and cheap enough for the casual golfer.

Great track and excellent value. Worth the drive every time.
