Freshly aerated greens
Course in pretty decent shape, but booking through GolfNow we did not know the greens are being aerated. The back nine was closed and the front nine was done on Monday. So we ended up playing the front twice. It would be nice if GolfNow could somehow know that and put some kind of notification on the course list but that would be a pretty tall task.
Tight fairways
Enjoyed everything about my round but I found the behavior of some of the other golfers a little rude. The fairways on this course are very close togetherness. FOUR time I had to hold up my tee shot while someone from a nearby fairway walked in from to me onto my fairway to take their shot. No waiting, no asking permission, no wave afterwards. As if it was all ok. I nearly hit one guys with my tee shot. Otherwise I really enjoyed the course. The greens were the best I’ve very seen anywhere.
Gem of a course
My wife and I are Floridians who summer in the area. This is our favorite course here. Staff friendly. Course is in great shape. Putting greens roll true and great speed.
MANada or ManNAda. Nice public course.
learned to play here nearly four decades ago. always a good choice for a round with friends of varying skill levels. the par 3’s still get the best of me! TREES! Staff is friendly. Pro is great to work with for outings. 19th hole is is a place to grab a beer and a hot dog.
Great place.
Not to long , not to short. And great conditions.. drove in from NH. On our way to myrtle beach. Did 18 in a very decent amount of time, just over 4 hrs. So , decided to do 9 more . The place was packed with a small opening on the 10th tee. The starter got us out there with zero delay in play.. over all , i would play here and recommend to others . We stop here as a half way point on our trip every year and play Manada.. great time had by all.
SLOOOOW!!!
If you like 5+ hour rounds with NO rangers, this is the course for you. They overbook then get upset when people complain about slow play. Seriously??
Rounding into shape
Course was in fair shape for end of March. Greens were a little long but full and ready for play. It was a nice but windy day so there were quite a few people out and we finally got going about 15 minutes passed our tee time. Pace was slow.
Slooooooooow
If you like to spend over 5 hours playing a round of golf this course is for you. No ranger used here.
