August afternoon
Course is in good shape, really liked greens. Good challenge for me. 2 men with a young boy in front and young boy putting and chipping when they got close to greens, but it held everyone up behind them.
Two
Although area has not had any rain in some time, greens were in good shape. Course offers a wide assortment of challenges that should help average golfer improve his game.
Good course for an extra summer
We played a round in under 3.5 hours. Course was rock hard but it’s July and a dry year so to be expected. Tough greens but fair and better shape than the fairways. Great public course and great prices so no complaints from my guys who played with me.
Nice Course
I play this course often because it is close to home. Course is generally in perty good shape. Course is somewhat forgiving but still has enough challenges to keep it interesting. Greens are not crazy fast but not rough either. In general this is a good course for the money and even better if you can find a deal.
Second time we played this course. Due to the pandemic golf courses are only allowed to offer certain things, but it is a nice course which I will play again if I am in that area.
Condition of course
The greens are in excellent condition. Even with the current lack of rain, the fairways were in good condition, green not burned out.
Receptive greens
Course in very nice shape. Short easy course with very well maintained and receptive greens. Shot my first under par round 71 (- 1) Great deal for 25$
4 Star
Nice course. Good value for a round of 18. Overall conditions were good. Can't help with the weather lately with no rain and a dry course. Only thing that came about making this 4 star was the staff member who rushed us out to our tee time. He stated that he had several tee times behind us and we teed off at 11 am. There wasn't another group behind us until we reached the 3rd hole, roughly 20 minutes later.
Greens were very nice. Fairways were parched and burnt out along with the Tee boxes. The Staff was more then great, allowing us to get off early on a very busy holiday Friday. Holes were challenging, but could hitting out of fairway was a big problem. Course must not have watering system, but over all, lots of fun.
Nice long course
Had a great time, course was in great shape and was a fast pace of play!
Glad we got the last round in a while in. No drainage - needs to dry out
Glad to sneak this last round in before the closed due to COVID-19. The course was a swamp - drainage system needs an overhaul. Not that wet lately for so much standing water and poor conditions. Greens were crazy inconsistent in speed too. Paid $20 so it was an average value.
Who knows when the next round will be for any of us. It seems like our Governor is enforcing the closures now very vigilantly and probably for good reason. Hopefully we can check the course out again in May or June.
Ok winter shape
Couse a little wet but very playable. Amenities shut down due to current virus situation.
Good Local Course
Whether you’re looking to tune up your game, or looking to just get 9-18 holes in, you can’t go wrong with playing Manada.
The staff. They are very friendly and are constantly working to help keep pace of play going, and ensure people are able to tee off at their requested tee time. The bar service is great, and provides a good place to reminisce of good times had on the course.
The course. You won’t find much trouble on this course as it is fairly open. If you’re a long hitter off the tee, I’d suggest possibly hitting a fairway wood or even a long iron off some of the Par 4 tees. Par 5s do for most players tend to play as a true 3-shot Par 5. The greens can be fast, and some greens have some challenging undulation to them. Which can be good or bad for your short game, depending on hole locations. Subtle breaks on the green van leaving you scratching your head as well at times.
Pace. This course can get VERY busy during peak time. I highly recommend a tee time to ensure you can get out to play. Although, back to the stellar staff.. if you arrive and intend to “walk-on” and play.. they will typically do their best to get you out.
Overall: A great course to refine your game on, a great course to take beginners to, and a great course to have cheap fun at.
