Dauphin Highlands Golf Course

I feel like we should have gotten a rain check or a future discounted round because of the fresh punch and fertilizer. Lots of bumps… it was my bachelor gathering.. was pretty bummed out. I’m sure the staff will get in touch with me about it .. good people over there.

Dauphin used to be so much better but it continues to disappoint. The greens were in awful condition for paying $75 to play. There are no sand bottles to repair divots, no water on the course, no sense of keeping pace of play and really just seems that management only cares about money. They pack the course with horrible tee time spacing and don’t put any money back into it to keep the course in prime shape. I won’t be back here until they start investing into the course and change the management to being a golf first course, not just get their money and screw the golfers.

The Greens were really is Bad shape. The Sand traps, at Least Half of them were unplayable they needed churned and racked by maintence. Faorways were good and sound. Putting over many many Balls marks and the Po Ann green grass was out of control. Have played there many times before never recall course is Rough shape...

I play here a lot and they always seem to over book tee times. There were 4 different groups booked at 5pm. I had to start off the back 9 and it was so back up that we barely got 9 holes in before it got dark.

The course was a big disappointment I’ve played DH m as my times in the past 20 years and always appreciated its great condition. Saturday I was extremely disappointed by the conditions of the greens. Mold was present, as well as poor maintenance. I hope these conditions are corrected. DH was a true gem. I hope it gets back to its past legacy.

I am in town on business. I asked a number of people for suggestions of a course to play and this one came up 5 times. I am happy I chose this course. I will play it again. All the staff was excellent and very friendly.

Great layout, challenging, great views. Unfortunately pace of play was very poor (5 hour round).

Enjoy playing there but twice in the last 3 years I left my range finder behind. Both times I never got it back

The course was very well-maintained, not a lot of tree trouble or hazards. It is truly a beautiful course in the greens are pure.

Should have a ranger to warn players to increase speed of play. It took 2 hours and 45 to play nine holes behind a very slow foursome. Very nice course otherwise.

Played this course twice. Love everything about it. Now a favorite for the money.

There was a time some would consider this a premier public course, but it is going downhill. Greens are rather pock-marked, rolled smooth but the grain is significant. Fast one way, very slow the other. This happens.

The tees were in really bad shape, hard to find a decent place to tee off on some holes. Why? We had no sand mix in our cart, so we stopped at #1 tee to get a full bottle. ALL 30 or 40 bottles were entirely empty; no wonder the tees and fairways are looking so bad. This was a nice course - in times gone by.

50 years playing, about 10th visit to DH.

Excellent condition, very good value for money. Staff were very helpful. All in all a great day of golf.
