Great course layout, great conditions , VERY Slow pace of play
The course layout was fantastic. Most tee boxes were great, fairways were awesome, and greens were good. The back nine greens seem to be slower than the front but overall rolled true. The pace of play was horrendous. At one point there was a line of 3 foursomes on hole 16 waiting to tee off. Would make for much more enjoyable golf if they spaced their tee times out a little further. Overall the course was good. Will be playing there again in the future.

Real slow play
looked forward all year to play here only to have slow play antagonize us... to the older gentlemen walking 18 on a 90 degree day - DON'T pay the extra 10.00 and ride...
Slow play
This course is always slow! 4 golfers in four carts and they go to one ball, 5/6 practice swings and then roll the ball 50 yds down the fairway then all drive to the next persons ball! They need a ranger!!!!
Land mines abound
This is not on the course but the patrons instead. Every single green was filled with land mines (not fixed ball marks)! It was horrendous!
I fixed five of them within four feet of my ball and the other guys in our group did at least 2-3 each on our part of the green within a 15 foot radius of the flag on the first hole. This course needs a Marshall out more for a number of reasons.
We did not ourselves play as fast as I would have preferred and any round here that does not take 5 hours plus to play feels like a miracle as they tend to overbook.
They have some new sand out in some of the bunkers on a few holes and I hope they get more new sand in to do it right after cleaning up the base sand layers first. It would really go a long way to improving conditions here green side.
It was not windy there for once and the day had exceptional weather overall. There are some tarps in parts of tees and one whole par 5 green is temporary and I cannot say that I am sad to see that green re-imagined.
The fairways were in good shape and their needs to be divot mix put out to fix divots so that seemed behind for how nice the weather has consistently been this off season. Aside from the ball marks, the greens do not roll consistently there and it is early.
Great course
This course was in great shape with outstanding fairways and greens that held approach shots. The people in the pro shop were very accommodating and made our group feel like they appreciated our business. Definitely plan to return even though it's a 1 1/2 hour drive from home.

Winter golf at Dauphin Highlands
Great fun playing a round at the end of December with sun and 55 degrees. DH was in good shape considering it is almost January. The course has a great layout with a few interesting greens. I’m not from the area and as a result I only drive down to DH when it’s colder in my part of PA. I need to see this course in the summer, I’m sure it’s wonderful! I highly recommend.

Nice course
The greens were in great shape. The grass was mowed so you could see the top of ball . That is great for keeping the pace of play moving
