Golf Club at Felicita

Sand traps were terrible, never raked and weeds growing. There weren't many golfers on the course, yet pace of play was slow. We had a single golfer jump in front of us , playing as a twosome. We never saw a ranger. Very narrow fairways, high rough. I would not recommend.

The tee boxes need alot of work, and the greens has crab grass growing and needs alot of work. The fairway are not in bad condition.

Most sand traps were in poor condition little or no sand. Every thing else was great

The natural setting makes this course great. What does not make it great is how overgrown everything is, and when they did get around to mowing, there were grass clippings EVERYWHERE!! Also sand traps are more like stone quarries. Still better than being at work.

First, I have played much worse courses for a lot more money.
Our foursome enjoyed some very nice looking holes but, spent way too much time looking for balls. Although the course is very tight on some holes, we had to look hard for balls in the rough just off the fairway. Looked like the mowers haven't been out for weeks in some areas. Greens were very slow also.

I've played Felicita a few times in the past and it was always in great shape. This time the bunkers had very little sand, the grass wasn't cut around some of the bunkers, and the fairways had not been cut. Disappointed with the course compared to the past.

Layout of this course has something for everyone. Take time to stop and enjoy the landscaping as this course put a lot of effort in to dressing this mountain. I would call this a hidden gem, tucked away in Fishing Creek Valley. Some narrow fairways will cause you to lose a ball or 2 but approach shot will challenge you mid irons.

Played felicita for a great deal through golfnow. The scenery is beautiful, with many interesting holes. Almost every hole is tree lined, and is crucial you hit the fairway, or there is a very good chance your ball is lost. There are lots of changes of elevation, and the course really makes you think.
The greens were good, but not great. The fairways needed cutting, and some of the tee boxes were in rough shape. If it was maintained a to a higher standard this would be one of the best courses I have played. Definitely will play there again, anytime I want a challenge.

The price for the play here is where it should be. We played on a Sunday afternoon and it was good because there was barely anyone on the course. The greens and fairways are well maintained, but Tee boxes needed major attention. All the fairways had significant slopes and greens challenging to read. Fairways are mostly tight. The yardage is poorly marked on the course and there was no drinking water available on the course. Staff was friendly, but the door to the proshop was locked when I tried to go in (in middle of afternoon). Overall, if you like a challenging course for a fair price, this is it, but the poor yardage markings make it more challenging than it should be.

Excellent layout, gorgeous flowers and trees throughout. Bunkers are atrocious, and most tee boxes looked like they belonged at a bankrupt muni course, not one of this caliber. Greens looked like they were half weed grass, and did not roll true. This course is absolutely beautiful, though, and the staff is great. Maybe maintenance is just getting a late start.

I would definitely play here again. Great layout, need all the shots in your bag, plus a few you didn't KNOW you had. Elevation changes, doglegs, well-placed hazards make this a strategic "thinking mans" golf course.

A must play! If you enjoy a challenge. Golfnow saved us a ton of money.

Beautiful mountain course. Very tight fairways and medium size greens. Greens are fairly fast but imagine they are very fast in the summer. The greens and fairway were in great condition! The tee boxes were still in winter condition.

I hit a number of ball down the fairway only to never find them. A few fairways are very narrow, but also have slope, so the balls I hit down the fairway presumably rolled off into the unplayable ground that has 2 foot deep leaves everywhere. No rough to stop it, and the ball just disappears into the leaves.
