course nice, weather perfect, but slow play
Good experience that would have been better, if the group of older gentlemen in front of us hadn't been so slow. Weather perfect, course nice. We had to have the carts back by 4:30 and it was a struggle to finish round due to slow play in front of us.
Amazing value for money
Brilliant experience and I will definitely be back when I am next in the Harrisburg area. Arrived about 20 mins before my tee time to learn there was a frost delay and two 4-balls in front of me. Without a single issue they declared I could get out in front of the two groups, and I played my round in blissful solitude in gorgeous surroundings. Good course layout for a mid to high handicapper, with gettable par 3s and a few dogleg holes that required a strategic tee shot, or a more aggressive 2nd shot over water. The 610 yard par 5 (off the whites!) is a good challenge to say the least. Greens were pretty slow due to the melting frost, but some of the downhill putts were still slippery. Staff were very pleasant, and I experienced none of the grumbles in the pro shop often reserved for people who book online. All in all a great morning’s golf, and 18 holes and a cart for $20 is impossible to beat these days.
Good time
I had a hard time finding a parking spot when I arrived. Was told there was a senior outing in the morning. Fortunately they were finishing up their round when I arrived. We went off the first tee and had no slow play in front of us, so it was a good paced round. We were pleased and the weather was great. We will go again.

Great price, poor pace of play
Have played this course for fifty years, since first moved to Harrisburg area. I like the layout; quite a few holes are challenging for me (15 index, 72 years old).
Pace of play was very slow for a Tuesday late morning tee time. They need a Ranger to monitor pace of play and keep it moving at reasonable pace; some folks seem to think golf balls are diamonds and look forever; need to let faster players play through if hole+ is open ahead.
But I still would recommend to others as maybe this was unusual day????

Crowded
Course was in good shape, greens were hard and did not hold. Many holes had people hitting in all directions . Pace was quite slow 5 1/2 18 hole round
