In golf - you always get what you pay for.
For $38 I couldn’t be happier. Upon arrival I was a little confused with where the golf shop was but there are only a couple buildings so you should be able to figure that out pretty quickly. Golf shop staff were fine. Across the country, pro’s are over worked and under paid. Everyone needs to acknowledge this and go into any golf shop with that understanding. In the LHV we have experienced almost no rain and because of that the greens were not at all receptive and extremely firm. Everything considered, it was a 100% worth the $38 for 18 riding(hot deal) and I would pay a lot more to play the course under ideal conditions. Something for the staff to consider - I had never been there before and there was no scorecard or pencil on the cart. It’d be nice to not have to worry about that. Also, we were held up the entire 18 by a group who was playing their game - but at a much slower pace than our 3-some or the 2-some behind us. Having a ranger out there would’ve been nice. But we still played in about 4hrs so I really can’t complain. Staff was great and are doing a great job otherwise! One pet peeve of mine is uneven teeing areas. The tee’s here were great and really well taken care of.
Dry
Course was dry, Haven't had any rain for about 3 weeks.
No singles?!?!
Just tried to book a tee time that had no bookings for 7:10 am (it was 6:10 am) as a single. Was told the earliest a single time was open was 10:00 am!
They would rather lose a customer then let a single go out when the slot is open? I highly doubt that in the next hour the slot will get filled by a foursome.

Tough and a hoot
Course has beautiful "Old School" layout....very long from the back tees where I play. Fairways were fine as were tees and greens as well. Greens are tricky, but putt true. Staff really cool and nice if they can put up with me, see? The rough this day was really hard to hit out of as they had a bit of rain, then Sun which caused them to be heavier than normal. It was a real challenge, but worth every penny. Take a trip and play one of the best courses in the area!

Fun course, great shape.
A friend and I played here. The course was empty because it rained in the am. Despite the rain leading to some wet conditions the course was in great shape. For reference my friends and I are still beginners so for us the course was challenging enough. There was one very long par 5 and some nice elevation challenges. I am not sure how a more seasoned player might feel as it’s probably not the “trickiest” course I’ve played. The views are nice and as said the course is in great shape.
One semi-negative would be the club house. It serves its purpose but could use some updating. The bar was closed when we played but seemed basic. But this did y take much away from the day.
Overall a very fun day. I will play here again and would definitely recommend playing here.
Classic Layout
By the third hole my golfing partner and I, could tell we were in for a treat. Berkleigh is a classic layout with smaller, undulating greens that putt true. The group of par three holes are one of the best collection I have played in quite some time. The price was more than fair and we will certainly be coming back this summer. Highly recommend.
Perfect day in January
For winter golf, the greens were in great shape. Tee boxes were shortened but still a great trac.

Gps incorrect
Couldnt use my garmin watch to see yardage for each shot. Course needs to be updated with correct holes and lil to non yardage markers
