Middletown Country Club

About
Middletown Country Club has been one of Bucks County's major golfing destinations for more than a century. Originally designed as a nine-hole golf course in 1913 by Scottish architect Alexander Findlay, the second nine was added three years later. In the many years since opening, the golf course has undergone renovations by both George Fazio and Stephen Kay. This tough course is proof that a layout doesn't have to be 7,500-plus yards to be a challenge. Although the Middletown C.C. golf course plays to a seemingly modest yardage of 6,217 from the back tees, the rolling terrain provided by its location in the scenic Neshaminy Valley makes the course seem much longer. The small greens have plenty of undulations and you'll also be faced with a variety of uphill, downhill, and sidehill lies. There are also towering trees looming above the fairways and water comes into play throughout the golf course as well.

A Wonderful Place that is worth to spend four hours
Old golf course with excellent field maintenance to keep the course conditions and challenges as design intended. The Staff and Services are outstanding and very friendly, including Prof Shop Services, Starter, and Field Patrols. I had very enjoyable time at Middletown Golf CC.
Terrible condition
I never really minded playing here even though it was never in great condition but man has it gone downhill. Tee boxes were horrible couldn’t even get the tee’s in the ground they were so hard and had little to no grass on them. Fairways were extremely hard and greens seem to not have been cut in awhile not worth the price at all
This is the worst I’ve seen this course look. The tee boxes are uneven dirt and crabgrass, the bunkers are unkept with rocks in them that can cause damage to clubs, the fairways look like someone’s unkept backyard, and the greens have damaged divot marks all over them. This course charges 73 dollars for a course only worth 40$. Today was my last time playing here, the conditions were absolutely terrible, hopefully someone buys this course who actually cares about it. Pitiful.
Good course but...
I enjoy playing there however the tee boxes are horrible. Course tough enough to challenge the average golfer but not overbearing.
Middletown
Fairways were excellent. Greens were a little long and needed to be cut but were in good shape. Tee boxes were terrible. Bunkers were a mix. Some were good, some terrible.
Pretty good.
Middletown was pretty good for the greens being aerated a week prior. Pace of play-good, staff -good, price- not too bad, we didn’t go 19th hole after but it looked nice enough.

Fairways, Greens, Tee boxes all terrible. Was expecting better.

Very poor conditions at a very high price
I would pay $40 to play this course with a cart. The teeboxes and greens are amongst the worst I’ve ever seen. Leaving a negative review because a weekend tee time could cost upwards of $80 bucks and that’s a joke. Additionally, an Arnold Palmer spiked is $7 with also seems expensive

Decent value for money paid
Course would be really nice in the early season, but due to the time of the year that we were playing, a lot of the tee boxes / greens were in rough shape.

Middletown GC
Having played this course a handful of times my scores have improved as I gain course knowledge. The greens are in decent shape the tee boxes are hard and need help (water and seeding). With the limited rain the course is in pretty decent condition and I would recommend this course to anyone thinking about playing It.
