Middletown Country Club

Staff in pro shop were rude. I showed them what I was supposed to pay at the course and they refused to correct the issue. I wanted to just walk away but they said if I did I would still be charged the full amount as a no show.

Ranger never made the group in front speed up play. Total round took just under 5 hours.

Starter wasn’t even on time. Showed up 30 minutes late and every tee time was backed up. So total round was actually almost 5 and a half hours.

Only saw the cart girl once and she barely had anything.

Probably won’t go back unless someone else is paying. Wouldn’t waste my money on that course again.

But since I've seen there over 4 years much better but don't kno about the 70 n change to play

Nice challenging course. I love the rolling hills and the water hazards. If you get a good drive, it's usually a nice easy chip for birdie or even eagle. VERY FUN. Pace was great for a solo on a weekday; roughly 2.5 hours.

Overall, we enjoyed our early 7:21 AM tee time this morning. However, we had 2 encounters with club members (per the ranger) who had complaints. Apparently from over 200 yards away, one member could hear music that was being played at less than half volume on our phone, and another member accused us of intentionally at them. I called fore-left as you should, but they said they didn’t hear and said it “seemed like it was intentional”. Listen buddy, if it was intentional, I wouldn’t have shot 100+. Course conditions are pretty good and greens are great, but current members are not welcoming to non-members, especially to my younger brother who is still trying to learn the game. Probably wouldn’t recommend coming here if you’re looking for a good time unless you are a member here… someone will probably have something to say.

Classic design. Alexander Findlay then George Fazio. How could you go wrong at Middletown Golf Course. You can't. Great design. Challenging par 3's. Couple of forced carries. Don't let the length fool you. Staff was nice. Bucks County you got a gem there. There's a reason this course has been around more then a hundred years. Go play it and see for yourself. No walking on weekends.

I’ve played Middletown many times over the last few years since I live a couple blocks away. Their greens were great today. In the past they’ve been rough, especially 11 and 13, but they were all in great condition. The improvement to the cart paths has been great as well. The tee boxes were pretty awful though. Most were very beaten up with little grass. They could use a couple water coolers throughout the course to fill up water bottles. It was high 90s today and thankfully they did have a ranger driving around with a cooler offering water to players. That was a great touch. Overall it is def improving and I will come back soon. If you asked me last year if I would come back I would have said no.

Course was in great shape. If I stayed in the fairway or first cut I had a shot. Layout forced me to use most of the clubs in my bag. Will definitely play here again.

The pace of play was horrible, I had a 12:20 tee time and when I checked in they had no carts, they overbooked, so before we even began, I knew it was going to be a wait. We waited 5-10 minutes every hole.

Challenging yet fun course. Everyone was super nice including the bartenders helping us out after our round. Underrated place hi

Course is 10x better than it has been the past few years. Greens are beautiful. All the worst they did this off season has paid off 10000x

I found the greens good, but the tee boxes were in need of water and grass in many spots.

Sand traps need a good stir and some new sand. Fairways were good but a bit hard.

We went at noon and were done at 4:10 with an even pace. Well worth a fair look for an avg price. Good for 85-105 players for fun or upkeep on playing. Strong players can have fun going for birdies and even eagles.
