Middletown Country Club

Greens were dreadfully slow. Tee boxes were a mess. If more care were put into upkeep, it would be a much better track. Some really cool layouts for many holes. Holes are tightly squeezed together due to acerage limits leads to some dangerous situations on even slightly errant tee and approach shots.

It was a fun little course. Lush greens and well maintained fairways. Greens were slower due to the rain over the weekend but they still were rolling very nice. Definitely worth a round for the price. Great find!

We have always jokes that this course is our “Dog Track”. Its the local course i learned how to play on. Was always in fair condition at best.

They have really turned the course around. They spent alot on cleaning up the bushes and lingering trees that made course a pain before.

Redoing some traps this past off-season and adding better drainage to them, sometimes the traps turned into water hazards.

Greens are thick, and play slow, but are in phenomenal conditions to weather the amount of play this course gets. Fairways and roughs have also improved.

Biggest issue still are the tee boxes, but i heard theyre next to get renovated.

They have raised the greens fees since all the renovations, so its mentally tough paying over $60 a round mid week, when we used to play for $25-$40.

As long as the course stays true to these new conditions, the “Dog Track” will be in name only and not bc of its sub par conditions

Enjoyed the course. A lot of hills and blind shots, made it challenging and a good time. Realize it’s only end of April but definitely not too early for cart service, there’s was none!!!!

Definitely play there again.

Coarse needs a little more TLC especially the tee boxes, they are extremely hard to the point I broke 2 plastic tees during the round. Also would have liked if Middletown would have posted on the website that some of the greens were air raided.

The positive is the staff here is amazing, they make you feel welcome from the time you check in to dropping off the cart after the round was over. The starter and rangers are friendly and out going. Their the type of ppl that even though you just met, they make you feel like you've know them for years. Definitely planning on playing here again and again.

Course was in very good shape except for some tee boxes, nbd. Challenging course for shot positioning because of the hills and slopes. Smaller greens make for some challenging approach shots. Enjoyed the round very much and plan to go back many times

Way overpriced rocks in traps horrible rough if cut uneven grass greens??? at best.bring in township to cut it this outside management is bad.

Paired with a Philly firefighter and two ER nurses. Couldn't ask for a better time. Ran the round at just about 4 hours. We all had a good time on one of the first "good" days for golf. Just remember everything runs to the RR tracks side.

Cost too much money and the course isn’t being updated or fixed up to make the money worth paying. They also charged my card for the forth person being a no show $70.

Course was in really good shape, even after rain. Still not worth the $75 for the round tho
