Middletown Country Club
About
Middletown Country Club has been one of Bucks County's major golfing destinations for more than a century. Originally designed as a nine-hole golf course in 1913 by Scottish architect Alexander Findlay, the second nine was added three years later. In the many years since opening, the golf course has undergone renovations by both George Fazio and Stephen Kay. This tough course is proof that a layout doesn't have to be 7,500-plus yards to be a challenge. Although the Middletown C.C. golf course plays to a seemingly modest yardage of 6,217 from the back tees, the rolling terrain provided by its location in the scenic Neshaminy Valley makes the course seem much longer. The small greens have plenty of undulations and you'll also be faced with a variety of uphill, downhill, and sidehill lies. There are also towering trees looming above the fairways and water comes into play throughout the golf course as well.

Best day of ‘25 was at Middletown CC
Greeted by friendly staff in the Pro Shop and the Starter, we began. This course is not for flat landers, but I love it. It challenges you on every hole. That’s what makes the course so much fun.
After we had drinks and food in the bar/restaurant. Good food and drinks.
All around, I gave it a 4 star only because of previous duffers not fixing ball marks on the greens. Spent most of the time fixing before putting. And, there could be more signage to guide you to the next hole. I know I’d know it better if I played here more, but it still would help for the first time or once in awhile golfers playing here.
middletown
i dont know where to start.....so ill start with the starter very helpful pointing out things about the course since i never played ther before...kind of a strange layout with short par 4s and long par fours but not many playable par fours...holes very close to each other and intersecting at times...overall kind of an average course with some very nice people running it.....what the heck play it once!!!!!!
Not worth the price
I can't believe the cost of this track. Each tee box was awful. Footing was awful due to digits and chunks of dirt. Sad! Don't do it.
Value and good test of your game
On time tee off. Challenging for senior average golfer.
Pleasant staff and good course conditions.
Played it a year ago and will play it again.
Better than expected!
First time playing here and after reading a lot of negative reviews I wasn’t expecting a lot or to impressed with the course. I was very pleasantly surprised and the conditions overall were great! Fairways were very green and well groomed and the greens were in great shape too! It is a very hilly course and most holes slopes left to right except for 18 and 1 or 2 other holes. I felt the holes were very close together and the tee boxes were also beat up and pretty bear. Otherwise it was a great round and overall experience and would play again and recommend to others! For early summer season, it is in great shape!!
Why?
So I showed up for my 12 pm tee time for a little pregame warm up. My partner and were ready to go early and there hadn't been anyone off the tee in 20 minutes. So I approached the starter about going off early with our twosome. He tells me that his boss doesn't want any of the golfnow times going off early because they are discounted times. After talking to him about how stupid and unfair that managerial decison was. He let's the 11:50 threesome go off and we wait until they are on the green and tee off. We play our round waiting at every hole on a basically empty course.
So as the title says "Why". Why does someone have to wait for a golfnow tee time because it is discounted? If you can't stand it that much why have the 2 tee time listed on golfnow at all?
