Royal Oaks Golf Club

First time playing course, best kept course I have played this season, green fairways, nice greens, beautiful views. Toughest part of the course is the greens, fast and although some very large tough to read. Staff extremely friendly. Highly recommend playing, can’t wait to get back and play again

This course is an exceptional value. Course is maintained like a private club. The greens are in the best shape around. The only situation I have here is the pace of play. To many times you either get stuck behind someone playing really slow or you get a group behind you playing extremely fast and it just makes for an unpleasant round. They need to pair up more singles, two-somes, and three-somes while also giving a few more minutes between tee times. With that being said, I will still play here again and again because of great value and course conditions.

I finally got to this course which is a 90 minutes drive for me. I didn't have many expectations and maybe that's why I enjoyed it so much. I'm not sure why more don't play this course. In the Lebanon, Hershey, Reading areas it's one of the best kept secrets.

It was very affordable and in real good shape following months of minimal to zero rain. The pro shop was well stocked but I didn't partake of the food menu just because of the time of play. Building was clean and welcoming.

Staff was very friendy. The range was nice, has mats and grass areas and an old pickup truck to dent if you want to. Carts are gas, although I prefer electric for the quieter and smoother ride.

The greens were very smooth. Ran very true. I'm picky about greens and these were really good. Beat my expectations for the price. Once you get the speed down they are consistent across the practice and playing greens.

Multiple tee boxes allow them to move and give you a good starting point. No dry spots were found. They also provide you with bottles of sand for divots and it seems the locals honor their role in keeping the course nice. Lots of divots were filled around the course.

Fairways were also good. Traps were more in the fairways and few around greens, but I didn't get in any and forgot to look inside to see their condition.

The layout was good. Pleasant views, kept me engaged. I like varied holes and viewing points. A few holes near the end were odd puzzles trying to figure it out, but the 2nd time I'll place the shots better on the fairway.

Good course, great value. I'm going to play there again.

The course was in great condition considering the lack of rain! Greens were true and rolled nice.

Love to see courses that don't believe they need to cut every blade of grass they can see. Allowing certain areas to grow wide adds character to the course. Like to see more ball cleaners on a few tee boxes. RO was in great shape this day.

Was looking to play another course nearby but could not get a tee time. This course we took a chance on and it was a great experience. Loved the layout and peaceful setting. Will definitely be back to play again and again

This course had the best greens that we played in the Hershey area. The last five holes had too many blind shots and in some cases we had no idea were to hit our shots. There were too many Mickey Mouse holes.

Beautiful setting and surroundings. Green are fast and true. Great deal and worth the 45 minute drive.

By far the nicest conditions of anywhere I’ve played this year.

Almost hard to believe it’s public. Kudos to the players and staff for keeping it so nice.

Big drivers can look for some shortcuts and big risk/reward attempts on this 71.

Found a hotdeal, plus had a coupon from the app so I took the drive.. absolutely gorgeous country out there.. take the back roads!

This course is in great shape. The back 9 specifically had some very unique holes. The fairways are very nice and you’ll pay for it if you hit the ball in the rough, which seems as if it should always be that way but most courses around here aren’t nearly as nice as this one.

I was greatly impressed with the condition of this course considering it's still early in the season. Other courses I've played so far this year have not even come close. Greens were faster than I expected. Played middle of the day during the week so it wasn't busy. Definitely worth the price to play a well maintained course.

I have always enjoyed playing Royal Oaks Golf Course and jumped at an opportunity on Golf Now to play. The course was in very good condition coming out of the winter months although recent rains made the golf course wet and somewhat muddy which downgraded our enjoyment somewhat. Overall, this is an excellent course, a terrific playout and we really enjoyed paying Royal Oaks once again.
