About
Linfield National Golf Club is a public course that is one of the area's best values. Formerly known as Sycamore Ridge, the course changed ownership in addition to its name. Since those two major changes, the course boasts better conditions and a renovated clubhouse. The layout has a classic links design that incorporates traditional elements including water, trees, and a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. The up-and-down of the golf course is one of the most challenging elements of the layout. The course is tight with a few adjacent fairways but this configuration also allows for a bit of extra room for recovery shots. Some of the holes at Linfield National Golf Club are quite narrow but it is still possible to hit the green in regulation. Though the course is only 6,164 yards, the rolling terrain will make it seem much longer.

First timer
Never played it before and was very pleased with the conditions - only issue was that there were a lot of ball marks on the greens, which really surprised me, considering we were one of the early groups off at 7:20

Great course, helpful staff.
Had a bit of a self inflicted snafu with people joining our group as we were coming up on our tee time. Staff were incredibly accommodating and very helpful.
Course was in solid shape and the pace was pretty good. Didn’t have to wait on a single hole this time out though that really depends on the group ahead of you.
Tough but fair with tight fairways, have always enjoyed linfield.

Nice and Slow
Nice staff and course in pretty good shape. But play is very slow and balls were spraying everywhere. Avoid this course on the weekends if you like to play faster.

Nice course
The course was in good shape and well maintained. They were following the Covid-19 rules and the cart was cleaned as we were arriving to get one. It was a perfect way to get outside and enjoy the day.

Found the course to be Challenging , really enjoyed the lay out of the course. Was a tight course, so you had to make good shots.

Feb golf
Linfield is a fun course and played pretty well consideing it was a day in Feb.
The greens were very bumpy and there was standing water in the bunkers and some places in the fairways

Aeration
Golf now and or the course did not provide notification that aeration had just occurred on the greens. Not fun when you find this out at the clubhouse before a round. That's inexcusable. Weather was perfect.

Aerated Course but A Good Round
We played right after the annual maintenance. The course did not come back as fast as they expected so they gave everyone discounted coupons. Even with the vagaries of the course it was a pleasant experience. The club house bar/restaurant is always fun.
Good course
The course was in very good shape, especially the greens. Lots of doglegs and hills. Shot shapers will excellent here
