Very Disappointed!!!!!
Let me begin by saying that I like this course. However, as usual, the pace of play here was ridiculous. 5 1/2 hours for a round. No ranger anywhere to be found. Golfers with zero etiquette. We saw one golf hacking up the 16th green. Just hitting balls off the green and one was my ball that he thought was his. He didn’t even care when we called him out on it. We love playing here, but if there is no accountability for anything, we will gladly drop the money at the many other courses around.
Slow play but nice course.
Great course but needs a Marshall to push some slow play. Group in front of us added an hour to our round. Was a good 3-4 holes behind the group that teed off just ahead of them. By the end of the round.
SUPER SLOOWWW
I have played this course a few times over the years. The location draws a lot of players. While there are a number of regulars there are also a good number of new and or really slow players. Out of the past 4 yrs going to this course maybe 3 to 5 times a year. I have finally come to the point where I can no longer justify playing there. Over the years I have only dealt with a starter after the first hole twice. First time I had two wheels of my cart off of the path near a green in an area that has a lot of traffic due to pour layout with practice green and driving range. The starter came out yelling at us about not having all of our wheels on path. ( blocking the road) . The second was on my last. LAST time playing there. I was match up with two lady golfers. There was a two hole gap between us and the next group as we started 1. We caught the other group by the 4th. A starter came to us on the 4th tee and told us we were playing to slow and had to get moving. Then drove back to club house. The group in front of us was a 5 some. We waited on them for every shot up until the 9th. I payed for 18, had to rent clubs and bought a number of items from club house. I stopped after 9…….. not worth the play. To many other good courses for same or less money where they treat you better and the play moves faster.
Excellent course but REALLY SLOW PLAY
This is a fantastic course layout. 5 start potential if the following issues are resolved.
1. Beautiful greens but were aerated and not sanded . Lost at least 10 Puts due to the aerated holes on the green.
2. I was paired with a group who seems to have NEVER played golf. One of the player was literally playing Putt Putt golf and hacked over 10+ strokes before making it on the green, on a par 4.
3. Marshall was non existent on the course.
4. The starter seems to have a bad day it seems to be generally grumpy.
5. The gentleman at the club house was very friendly and a total opposite of the starter:
5. While this is a very nice public course, it would be good for a marshall to monitor the pa e of play..
It’s a 5 start course with 2 start experience.
