Mount Airy Golf Club
About
Situated amidst the beautiful Pocono Mountains, Mt. Airy Golf Club sprawls across lush rolling hills covered with lakes and ponds. There are also wandering streams that cut across the course. This demanding layout requires accuracy over distance with tree-lined fairways and a wildly undulating terrain. Golfers will be faced with tricky uneven lies as well as several blind shots. Water hazards also come into play on several holes. The golf course is challenging but high handicappers should not be too discouraged since it can also be quite forgiving, especially on the fairways, which offer some room for error. Mt. Airy is a demanding course, but the interesting hole designs are fun to play and the beautiful setting will make the round worth it even if your score is less than perfect.

Interesting holes based on different courses.
Excellent condition. Very very well maintained. Enjoyable round of golf. One negative -- I miss the par 5 16th, since changed to a par 4.>MB
Great value, fun place to play
Got to the course a bit early for my tee time and they sent me out right away. The starter even gave me a heads up on the first hole (a very long uphill par 5) the course was definitely a bit quirky and short at times. Lost a couple balls on dead straight drives due to inaccurate tee signs that don't really give you a accurate depiction holes 7, 13 and 16 especially) overall maintenance was real nice. only complaint in that department was the sand is hard as anything. If they fluff those up it can be a great course.
Definitely worth a play IMO.
In great condition and challenging
Had a great time at Mount Airy. I played there twice before and did not play well either time. This time I was on my game and really enjoyed the afternoon. After making par on the first hole, which is a tough hole, it was all fun from there. It was in great condition. Putting was really true. Some of the holes will make you think about your tee shot and club selection. Get there. You will enjoy it.
Very challenging but playable course.
Played it for the first time. Heard there was a lot of blind shots, which there are, but course is fair with some room for error. Greens were in great shape as well. Great course for the money.
Great features
18 holes of breath taking scenery. Very challenging course, not for the beginner. Staff us fantastic, and the course is perfectly manicured and maintained
Nice, but would play other courses in the area first.
Was nice, but after playing other courses near by (Jack Frost National, Split Rock and Great Bear ), was a little disappointed. Had a couple very interesting holes.
Of course, a big bonus is that the Casino is right there.
Really can't beat the value though, paid $25 through GolfNow.
Great course, amazing price
Booked on GolfNow for $30 at noon on a Sunday at end of April. Cart included in price. Amazing course especially for the price. Great par 5's, scenic par 3's and relatively easy par 4's. Very scenic course with lots of water and plenty of challenging slopes. Fairways well maintained. Greens were aerated probably 2 weeks prior so greens were a little unpredictable. Will definitely go back and am sure the greens will be in great shape.
Great layout and great people
Stayed at the casino for the weekend and got the course on Golfnow. Loved the design and the staff. The greens were still coming in so unfair to criticize. Will certainly be back.
I play the course often and the price is right and everyone is pleaseant
Playing a number of courses in the Poconos this one is one of my favorites and when they role the greens it will be even better for all to enjoy the challenges they provide, This is our spring training after all, give it a try.
Great and Challenging
Mt. Airy was a great course. It's a very challenging course, not for the beginner. With many blind tee shots, it's also good to know the layout. The fairways were beautiful, while the greens were still waking up from Winter. Soon the whole course will be pristine. Landscapers were busy, but not annoying. Starter and desk were very helpful! Overall, a great day, and a great course.
Great course with beautiful views
The course was in excellent shape and very well maintained. It rained all day the day before so it was cart path only all day which extended play but still and awesome time. The views from the course were amazing throughout the day. The course is challenging but well worth the price paid.
Don't miss an opportunity to try this course.
A great venue for all Lehigh Valley and golfers from Northern NJ. Excellent conditions, excellent value and the changing elevations make the course most enjoyable.
Championship golf course!
If you're looking for a chamionship-quality golf course in the Poconos, Mount Airy has it all! Water comes into play quite a bit, especially on the front nine. The back nine is quite majestic with well trapped, elevated greens with scenery abound. This is definitely not a place for beginners (130 slope from the white tees), but even a novice will enjoy playing this lengthy, yet beautiful layout. Just bring plenty of golf balls and plan to be there a while since the pace of play is normally about 5 hours. The clubhouse is very classy as well, and the staff seem eager to please. Overall, a terrific course that will challenge even the best golfers.
Difficult course
Tough place to play. Definitely not for the hacker.
This course is long and challenging, have nice senic view from one hole to the others, course is average maintain.
I play this course at least once a year because I live in NYC. I enjoy playing at this course and love the atmosphere.
awesome course
great course with some tricky holes ,the daunting 1st hole wow ,all in all a real golfers course
Well groomed & challenging
This course has undergone a beautiful transformation over the last 2 years. Automatic sprinklers have been added on all holes and the course is now beautiful & green.
Greens are tough
Great course. Very challenging . Plenty of hazards to stay away from. Would definitely play again.
Mount Airy
Fairway grass a little long, clover and weeds creeping in. Lack of yardage markings in fairways.
long course for women
Played after heavy rain so it was cart path only. Wide fairways led to a lot of walking. Next to Casino if you want to gamble or eat.
Hilly course with pretty views.
