Course was in good shape except construction type sand in traps and bare spots on fairways/greens

This course is fun to play. Greens are tricky. Fairways are in great shape and the rough is the perfect length Nice layout and great price.

You guys are doing right , the price after 4 is unbeatable. Keep it up

$60 to play on torn up greens. Not sure whether it’s diseases or just poor maintenance but most greens are really in poor condition. Tee boxes are good and fairways are about average. It’s a shame because I like the challenge of the course, the layout is good, and the staff are the friendliest people. Not to mention the snack shack is serving up some good stuff :)

You will probably pass Pilgrims Oak golf course on your way here. Do yourself a favor and just stop there and play your round. The conditions there blow away Tanglewood and it’s a couple bucks cheaper.

Phenomenal golf day! The course extremely well maintained. The greens a hair slower than anticipated.. Always a fantastic time. Paired up with three others, very pleasant people. Didn’t sample the dogs at the turn(this time).

Tanglewood is always in above average condition and the people always give 5 star customer service. Yesterday was more of the same.

Cart path only was lifted as we got on the tee box. Still a little moist in places, but it helped us come in in under 4 hours. With rain the night before, bunkers weren’t “fresh “, but were playable. Greens were a bit bumpy and had some signs of recent aeration, but rolled at a good speed. My group like the fact that it’s hard to lose a golf ball at Tanglewood. Some of the tee boxes and greens are a bit close to each other ,and balls do come from other fairways, but we always enjoy playing here.

And still the best deal I have found. A hot dog, chips, candy bar AND a drink for $5 at the snack window at the turn!! It’s like they are practically giving it away!!

Just a great place to play. A fun and challenging coarse. Very friendly, nice staff. Could have killed a breakfast sandwich though

They always do a fine job of maintaining the course. I interacted with four different employees and truly felt welcomed and appreciated. They are to be commended!!

I drove 55 miles each way to play this course and it was well worth it.

Great day at the course, almost like Florida, lol.

Played on a rainy day, the staff was super friendly, informative, and the course was IMMACULATE. Great pricing on food too. We were fairly alone out there, so our pace might not be typical but for the price, the course condition, the layout, and gps carts with a snack bar, it couldn’t be better. My new favorite course

We were enjoying our round of golf and didn’t even mind waiting for our shots until a ranger felt the need to tell us we needed to speed up. He must have only assumed we were behind because we had two female and two male golfers and like all chauvinists felt the need to scold our foursome. I guess he did not realize that we were up the butts of the foursome of men ahead of us waiting on just about every shot and had a hole behind us where their was another foursome of men. I thought in 2022 we wouldn’t have to deal with this anymore but I guess not. Hopefully if we ever play there again, the ranger knows what he’s talking about before he speaks.

Absolutely stunning course, and very well maintained to boot. The fairways were perfectly maintained, greens were recently aerated and the rough edges were at the right place to be challenging but not overly difficult. Gorgeous day, lush grass and a beautiful fall backdrop. Holes were nicely spaced out and not a single hole felt forced in to place. I thought the front nine was amazing and then we played the back nine. It kept getting better and better. Who ever designed this course did a truly amazing job. GPS on all carts was a nice and surprising bonus. You certainly will not be disappointed with this course. The only bad thing is that a first timer/ or new golfer will become spoiled. Once you play this course you will not want to play anywhere else.

The course was in fantastic shape! Morning play was delayed by a frost, but everything worked out just fine.

Had a great round with a twosome from Maryland that we had not met before.
