Chapel Hill Golf Course in Reading enjoys a scenic backdrop of mature forests. The tucked away locale provides a peacefully secluded setting that is ideal for a round of golf. While it may not seem like a long layout at just under 6,150 yards, you'll soon forget about any lack of length once you get on the golf course. From the very first hole you're confronted with a water hazard, a stream that weaves around five other holes. The layout forces you to think through each hole, making the tough decision between going for it or laying up. Accurate shot placement is crucial throughout the golf course, especially on the back nine where there are several tricky doglegs and tough uneven lies. Mature trees tightly line the fairways at Chapel Hill Golf Course, and the greens are framed with strategically placed bunkers.

Very Ambiguous Links
Fun to play, you'll find yourself challenging your own last best drop. Very well laid out courses Rawls pretty well maintained for this high humidity area and time of year. Would wish there was more direction as to Hole next hole and outside Refreshments will be nice even if from vending machines. It's absolutely very clear that the owners of this course and caretakers no matter how small an army cuz of the lack of whatever this course is in good shape and very proud to recommend it and play it again

Conditions continue to improve. Getting over a very wet July. Sand traps are improved. Overall very nice course to play with some very challenging holes.

Course was in great shape
The course and greens were in great shape. Too bad my game was not.

Nice course
This was my first time at Chapel Hill and I’m definitely gonna play again. It was a good course.
Only complaint is that they can replace the signs, it gets confusing at the intersection

Some greens needed to be fixed as there were some bare spots on a few. Overall nice staff, and good holes that make you plan each shot. Fairways were solid too

Really improved the sand traps and greens. Working hard to improve fairways and cart paths. Really like the challenging layout. Need to hit it well on most holes.

Fun challenging course
Mix of narrow and wide open fairways make it different from most courses in the area. Staff was great. My only complaint is about the cart paths. Some investment is definitely overdue.

Course was playing good. Grounds Staff was doing a great job of course maintenance. I believe this course, will show the added work going into it this season.
