About
Northampton Valley Country Club, proudly owned by Northampton Township, the golf course first opened in 1963. It is well known among locals as one of the Greater Philadelphia area's best courses. The layout has a classic design with tree-lined fairways and gently sloped greens. Several strategically placed bunkers lurk along the greens and there are a few water hazards that come into play as well. The par-70 golf course is a manageable 6,400 yards from the back tees. It's a traditional design that is player friendly enough for all skill levels but there are risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to low handicappers. In addition to the golf course, Northampton Valley has a driving range with new range balls which is open to the public and a 10,000 sq. ft. practice green with a pristine sand trap for patrons to work on their short game.

Nearly perfect
Not a single complaint about the round EXCEPT the pace on the back 9. We got through the first half in 1:45. Second half was slowed due to a 5 man WALKING group.
Course was in great condition. Greens firm and fast (probably a 12) fairways perfect, tee boxes immaculate, bunkers were a pain in the butt because of how nice they were. Would and will play here again.

Good challenging course.
Played Easter Sunday. Course in good condition. Greens were great. Course has a good layout. Hard par 3 to end the round.
Little pricey for a round on the weekend but is what it is. I paid it. Overall like a 4.2 out of 5.

It’s hard to rate this course now in the middle of March and the greens just being aerified but this is usually a four star course!

Course is what you’d expect for winter play. Greens were very rough and slow. Needed rolling.
Winter play
Course was in fair condition but playing in February you can’t expect perfection.
Some greens had aeration and some did not which made things interesting. Had to “hunt” for some tee boxes.
Minor frost delay but pace was acceptable once play started.

They do a good job keeping the course in good shape. People are friendly, food is good , we go there pretty often.
