Golfer Reviews
Anthony 08.12.2017
Inglesides Golf Course at about 5000 yards with two good par 5's and 5 par 3's ( two of which play about 175 yds uphill ) was in really good shape. The key to this course as is the case with golf in general in to stay in the fairway. The rough does not appear deep at first brush, but it is a deal killer in terms of scoring. A terrific value easy to walk but there are a couple killer walks which will get your blood pumping. In these days of $90.00 ( or more ) for weekend prime time play, Ingleside is a great value at about $42.00 w/ cart .
Poor quality
I've played this course many times and over the course of the few years it's gone down hill worse and worse. The tee boxes are in bad shape, fairways are rough, the rough is more like a forest. The township doesn't make any effort to make it an enjoyable round of golf. For some of the rates they charge the money surely isn't being put back into the course.
First Time
I was visiting from California, my first time going golfing solo. I was added to a 3some. They knew the layout of the course and very friendly. By the end of the round, i had forgottsn that i did t know them. My next visit will include a few tee times there. Loved the course.
Great for a short course
Always enjoy going here, it's a great short course. Lots of Par 3 so it's good for a short game.
short but challenging
The greens are in excellent shape & the fairways are also. The ruff is too thick with some lying dead grass.
I like the course alot. It is not a course where you will be using your driver every par 4 which I like. It opens up when you get across the street to the 6th hole.
Early Spring conditions were noticeable with improvements.
Staff has centered it's attention on bunkers and around the greens. More work is required but the Outlook appears promising. Keep up the improvements
Ingleside
For $24 it really is not that bad. But if you are an experienced golfer looking to play on a course where you are not into knowhereville just off the fairway then this course is not for yoy. For centered at amateur golfers just looking to gain experience. It was a good course for me to play in the beginning of April just warming up my game for the season. Layout is pretty bad, but for the money it wasn't regrettable.
Cut up
I've played this course many times. It's short but I have always had problems scoring here.
The course has been changed at least twice to accommodate houses. What's left is a tight, short course that I just don't enjoy playing.
It is in good shape. And they are mowing the "natural" areas. Plenty of shag balls to be had.
Nice day of golf
My dad and I played a very nicely paced round of 18 holes without trouble. The course is challenging and worth the money. I only lost 5 balls in the water or rough. I would play this again any time.
Good place to have fun
The starter let a bunch of singles go with a couple of beginners in between. So the singles kept playing through. I met up with another singer and played with him and we both agreed that we felt rush once we played through over three times. Overall good experience, will return if the greens fee is under 30 dollars.
Ingleside
The sand traps need WORK!
Greens on the front good but the greens on the back where slow.
louisjones
course was in great condition, I play this course often and always have a great time the greens are a little tough with a lot of slopes
Par 3x6
This is a nice course to play especially with a beginer.
Its not overwhelming in length water hazards are in the right places to challenge you a bit. The bunkers are deep and in most cases they surround the greens. This is the first course I have ever played with 6 par 3's but it work's with the layout. We had a frost delay and it set everythig back a bit I was alittle annoyed that the ranger came up on us while leaving the 17th and said to pick up the pace,,, now throughout the round the group of old guys have been ball hawking in the water hazards as well as wherever they might find a free ball. We found it more amusing than annoying until the marshall thing,, most likey they where friends of his or members and to say something on 17 ?? ok,, I'm not letting it bother me I'm just telling you.
Find it book it play it.
