Pathetic Golf course
this place should not even be able to be considered a golf course. i payed over $45 and it was not maintained AT ALL. The greens had full dirt patched everywhere, they were so dry i could see cracks in the greens. the fairways and greensides were basically just weeds and when i hit my ball in the fairway i couldn’t find it sometimes since it was so thick and not taken care of. The tee boxes were so uneven and were mainly just super hard dirt and sand, with very little grass. This course was pathetic
Terrible course conditions
The course is in TERRIBLE condition. The tee boxes are half dirt. The greens are awful. I should have asked about the conditions in the pro shop.
Not looking good
I’ve played this course now for three years. Either the owner is getting ready to sell to a developer or doesn’t care anymore. The greens are compacted dirt with no grass. The fairways are the same as the rough leading up to the greens. I always liked playing this course to work on shots but it’s getting to the point where it’s not even worth the practice round. Sad to see a fun course turn into this.

Bad
I grew up playing $10 municipal courses and army post tracks so I understand that not all courses will be manicured paradises. Ingleside looks like an abandoned golf course. The conditions were so bad that I stopped after gutting out 12 holes. It just wasn't worth it any more. I lost balls in the fairway because there are random areas with 12 inch grass. The bunkers are just dirt holes surrounded by 2 foot tall grass. Most of the greens are 70% dirt, and the rest is unputtable nonsense. It's impossible to find a level area on any tee box. The lack of maintenance is beyond any low cost course I have ever played. I went in expecting and even looking forward to some challenges with the conditions, but it was like trying to play golf in a hay field filled with rocks. The staff was courteous and helpful. I'm sure it's difficult to compete with other courses in the area, but the conditions point to negligence. I will not be going back.

Awful condition
Greens are literally brown. Course is completely unplayable should be charging $20 a round for conditions like this.

What happened?
I’ve played a few rounds at Ingleside and considered it pretty decent and the price matched the conditions. Now it’s buried 6ft under and still taking your money.

Worst course in PA
This maybe the worst course I have ever played. Should be worth no more than $20. $56 is a ripoff. Conditions were horrible.

Avoid at all costs
I wouldn’t walk my dog over this grass, let alone play here ever again. It’s offensively bad for a place that charges around $50 on weekends.
Brutal carts, awful greens (would rather put on greens that were punched yesterday at a real course). The only thought I keep returning to is I never want to see this place ever again and it was truly offensive. See image attacked of what this place calls a green in peak season.
Save yourself the time and money unless you want to skip the range and just hit balls on “real” grass.

They should pay you to play there. I used to like this course back in the day, but what happened? The greens are a disaster, tee boxes are either shooting off of dirt or shooting out of the rough. The fairways are non existent anymore. I’ve never lost so many balls that were in play before.

Course is much like a war zone, greens are brown and in terrible condition. Terrible mowing, use to play this course and it was so much better. Has went way down here

Horrible All around
Greens unplayable, fairways didn’t even know if there were any, rough of course horrible. Lost atleast 5 pays with drives right down the middle of fairway. Cannot believe this course is on the GolfNow app. Total disgrace

They should not take anyone’s money. We left after the 2nd hole. Shut it down

They seem to give up maintrnance
I visited the Ingleside first time after the Covid.
Previously it was a decent course to play. But it has become almost an abondoned place.
I am sad that we lost a good golf course.

Course with great potential but needs work
Living right next to this course makes it my go to for a quick round. However, as the season has progressed the greens have become more brown and barren, especially on the front 9. With the current condition it is getting difficult to justify the 50 or so bucks for a round with a cart when there are some of Pennsylvanias top rated public courses in the area for a few bucks extra. With that said I do enjoy playing here as it offers a relaxed golfing experience with some interesting playing challenges (9th hole). Hoping the conditions improve.

Greens? Browns
No way this could be charging this price for this course. This course has so much potential. There’s clearly no regular maintenance. I played this course in early May. Although it wasn’t the finest course, it was playable with a pleasing layout. Now the greens aren’t green. They are 70% bald 30% grass. It’s unputtable and not what I remember from my last visit.

Course Conditions need to Improve
The conditions have gotten bad here. The greens are un-puttable at times. The last couple months the course maintenance has really dropped off. Hopefully they turn it soon.

This ain’t golf. If you got all day and need to just hit balls maybe. How about $10 for a cart and go ahead and book it. If not go somewhere else. This place should be closed.
